Le Dragriff vgupta BlueberryJoy Cast as far as you can with whatever rod you have. You can catch stripers with the basic rod...just be sure you're casting out as far as possible. Stripers love A and D bait, but they'll occasionally bite at F bait, too. smile ive been fishing a lot in bassken but no striper ever bites my basic, strength and performance rod sad Strength rod can't be cast far enough for large fish, like stripers..
ninja uh i beg to differ, I have caught more than my share of stripers with a strgth rod, of course it is a plus one but it still catches em plenty good.
