That's also why I liked Jhoto, along with just how the whole game 'felt'.
I really like Sinnoh also though. While Jhoto feels timeless, and worn in age, Sinnoh feels modern, but at the same time it's covered by tons of pokemon mythology. And regardless if it's 'fictional' or not, I like mythology. lol

Yellow, for sure. I loved trying to get Pikachu to love me. And having all three starters eventually.
Also, Blue. It was my very first one, and it's the one with the rare candy trick razz
