CrabappleRed Captain Verd I can't really see Naruto with a weapon. He seems like the kind of Strictly Ninja ninja, with the kunai and shiz. You can never tell? Kishi has that weird symetry thing going one between Naruto and Sasuke. And didn't Naruto pull that huge throwing star and toss it at Deidra? *shrug* we really havn't seen much of Naruto's ordinary techniques. Yamato was right: Naruto relies too heavily on the Kyuubi. Honestly, though, I'd like to see Naruto start using a weapon. The clone thing is neat but, how do I say this? It's cumbersom right now. Especially with the three-people Rasengan. I want to see Naruto develop in terms of skill and variety. Alright yeah, it would be way cooler if he had a weapon. Tsunade keeps making this big deal about how he'll be Hokage, but right now all he can do is 1.5 really powerful attacks, and kage bunshin. He's not exactly the best choice right now with just those.

Considering Naruto isn't a taijutsu master like Gai or Lee, and doesn't really have alot of skills besides his jutsus, it's kind of hard to judge what his strength is otherwise.

The problem is that right now, Naruto doesn't have anything to reccomend him as Hokage. Ok, so he has the raw Chakra. But he has no true grasp of planning ahead or tactics, unless he's doing improvised maneuvers, and even then, he wastes a lot of time on useless steps. He's not very versatile, either: He's got a very limited number of attacks, and a very limited use for them so far. Right now, his whole strategy is 1) power up with Kyuubi and 2) put big holes in it with Rasengan. It's a shame, because originally he had potential: his teamup with Sasuke was a brilliant little piece of tactical maneuvering, for example. I'd like to see more of that from him. And he'll need to show more of it, because with guys like Shikamaru, or gals like Sakura around, he won't be able to make it to Hokage.

I dunno, I think Yamato would be a pretty good Hokage, considering he can control Kyuubi and do all that Shodaime crap.

Everyone was just saying lots of jutsu was required for success. I agree. Yamato is pretty damn strong, smart, and charasmatic.

CrabappleRed So, we've at least gotten confirmation as to how those Chakra blades work. I find it quite cool that you can charge them with whatever jutsu you want and have them amplify it. I suppose that Sasuke's sword must be the same sort of thing, since he chanels his Chidori through it. I have to wonder if Naruto will get something similar, or if he'll be etternaly stuck with "Attack of the Clones". Hey, the clones are cool, I just find it annoying that he has the chakra and the experiance, but doesn't seem to go nuts on clone tactics, such as making about twenty clones and turning himself and others into shuriken and kunai and just getting a clone to fling the others at enemies. Half way there, transform, surprise, and attack. xD And as for weapons, I really want Sakura to get something like thisxD Sakura: HULK SMASH! D< As for Naruto, he might get something like what Sasuke has, but I'm not betting on it.

I think Shino would be a good hokage I mean sure he isnt as smart as Shikamaru but he is smart nontheless he has very effective jutsu's that wil only grow in power over time and he never panics.
