I can't wait to see previews!! x3.
But the sims 2 isn't that old and I spent all sorts of money on it. gonk

Uhm.
Hun, it doesn't come out for three more years.
I'm sure you can earn $50 in three years.

I still have to get Glamour Life and the Holiday Stuff Pack.
[Which I think is stupid for adding more items than the original Sims 2 Holiday Edition so now I have to spend MORE money for ten items.

Wait... What will they improve biggrin ! xd

hm...is it really only $50 that we've spent!?
Sims2-$40?
University-$20?
Nightlife-$30?
Family Fun-$15?
Glamour-$15?
Pets-$20?
Holiday-$20?
I'm guessing the prices...that's more than $50...how much was the first sims 2?
I wish we didn't know about it, yet...the excitement may get too much for us addictees, lol...we may explode...I can't even think of how they can improve it...but I guess EA can!

Well, what do you know? I wasn't expecting to hear about a #3 for a couple more years at least. I'm still sadly behind: just got Nightlife, sure I won't be getting OFB till February, if that.

I'm not excited.
mad
I already spent tons of money on the sims 2.
There's no way I'm going to spend another 200+ dollars on the sims 3 and it's expansion packs.

Why? If it's a better game? 3 years from now.

I spent a whole bunch of money on the Original Sims. But as soon as Sims 2 came out with its new generations and so many new features, it was a quick buy.

That's like walking around with one of those old old giant size of a brick cell phones saying you spent $300 on this and you aren't upgrading to the new fangdangled kind. razz

I'm looking forward to Sims 3 but don't want to think to much about it yet. I'd like to wait and enjoy sims 2 for now.

That's so awesome! I have no clue what they could change, though, really.

I see what some of you mean by not wanting to pay money for it all over again, but I think it'll be worth it.

Don't you guys remember how psyched out we were when the Sims 2 came out? It made the originals look waaay bad! The Sims 2 seemed to fix everything, didn't it? And now our little baby is growing up! blaugh

But for now, I'd like to just enjoy the Sims 2. 3nodding

Eh, I'm kinda curious about this Sims 3 idea. I'm really happy with The Sims 2 the way it is right now, and it's still expanding so I dunno what they're going to do with The Sims 3.

Yes, I've been pondering what will be updated in the third Sims also.
But, remember back when you first got the original Sims, how you thought it was the greatest game ever made?
And how you thought nothing needed to be changed?

Well, then the Sims 2 came out.
And we all freaked and ran out and bought it.
[Well, most of us anyways...]
And now we feel as though there is nothing that can be changed about it.

But hopefully Maxis and EA will soon prove us wrong.

Well I switched from Sims 1 to Sims 2 so I don't see that big of a prob here either. Besides its a good two years after seasons... I hope they have a way to change height of your sims. I want tall/small adults
PostPosted: Sat Dec 09, 2006 5:42 am
The only thing I can think of that will be changed is maybe making it a little bit more like real life?

I unno...I guess it could have its good and bad points. surprised

OMFG. Sims 3!?!?!?

Heres what I hope they'll add;

-feature that lets toddlers crawl into beds by themselves-
-letting teens get pregnant w/o a third party add on-
-feature that lets you go to school with the kid and go through school-
-ability to have have a full time nanny-
-more spaces on family roster when you create one yourself-
-ability to go to work with your sim (same idea as school thing)-
-ability to homeschool your kids-
-faster toddler training-
- A program packaged with the sims 3 that lets you edit and make objects, wallpaper, flooring, color options for houses and items (like bodyshop)-

annnd more stuffs x3

Why does everybody seem to want to be able to take their Sims to school and work? I don't see any point to it. Like MAXIS/EA said it would be very boring to watch if your sim had a desk job.
