Oh for christ sake. When will you facist little tykes learn that the world is going to lable you because nothing can exist without a name, title or stereotype. Sure, none of us like to be catagorized, stereotyped, made fun of or patronized due to a stupid label but do you know how what beats all that negativity? Making the person who's ignorant, look like an idiot for assuming you do something or other because of the way you're dressed, what color eye liner you wear, how many peircings you have, etc. Trust me, watching them either walking away, blushing with embarrassment or stuttering while trying to think of something witty/educated to say, will help ease your pain and is down right entertaining if you ask me.
And if you're against such classifications, why did you join a GOTH GUILD?!

MortSanglant Isel Why is this such a relevant topic here? It keeps being repeated. I know. I mean... okay, I've learned:
-Labels are good -Labels are bad -Anti-label people are stupid -People who label people are stupid -Labels are for soup cans (Which is the most astounding nugget of knowledge that has been presented to me!) -People are not soup cans (I take that earlier one back, THIS is quite profound knowledge!!)
I don't think I need refresher courses.

I don't think I need refresher courses.Well, it's sort of like watching car crashes on the news - you know what they are, and you often know what causes them, but the "new" information will still get crammed down your throat.

I hate stereotypes, because half the times their wrong, I'm also not a big fan of labels, because people should be aloud to be what they want to be, even if it offends you.

[wtf!!!] lollie pops i do for my opinion and so do people who use it too. so i guess you think you suck? because even though you hate stereotypes and labels, it's all just another form of classification. you do it every day. if you don't know a person, you find a way to describe them that fits into a classification, like "that black girl" or "the kid in the baggy pants." you see someone, their skin color, their ethnicity, the way the talkl, and the way they dress, and you automatically put them into a category, subconsciously. it's only human.

People think that I'm a gay white emo goth devil worshipper Uncle Tom oreo f** f**ktard who will never lose his virginity because he is so out of the loop when it comes to illiteracy. If I defined myself like that, I'd kill myself. I am:
-Slightly Emo -Slightly Goth -Slightly Bisexual -Completely Insane
And the person who said that I would never get laid didn't even have a girlfriend! Chichow has been my main squeeze for one year yesterday! I'd like to thank all of the big guys up there. biggrin *cornus*

I lost track of what you were talking about after 1. you called yourself insane and 2. you said you were "slightly bisexual".
What the hell are you talking about? Uncle Tom has got to be the most out-of-place adjective in both today's society AND that sentence.

What the hell are you talking about? Uncle Tom has got to be the most out-of-place adjective in both today's society AND that sentence.Well, there is such a thing as slightly bisexual. It's being more attracted to the opposite sex, but also being attracted to some of the same sex.
Anyway, back to the topic:
I'm used to labels. You don't like being labeled, too ******** bad. It will happen no matter how much you piss and moan about it.
Me, I just got used to it and didn't b***h about it to the idiots who were insulting me. Their insults were mediocre anyway.
