Shikalee B-BLOOD CAPSULE. HAS SOMEONE ELSE'S BLOOD IN IT. IT... hurts them instead... Apparently Kakashi has Kakuzu's... Or does Shikamaru? Someone has Kakuzu's blood... Shikamaru is safe, for now... xd Damn, I'm so... EXCITED!! MY HEAD'S SPINNING... how the hell did he come up with a plan like that?! And how did... Kakuzu's blood come out of HIS cheek? Is the capsule some sort of curse that gives you someone else's blood? Or does it disguise your blood as someone else's... Oh my god... He was playing POSSUM!! xd That's the Shikamaru we all know! As you can tell, I just read the translation.

I can't recall if he has ever drawn a direct blow, so I can't say either way. Though, if seen at the last panel it shows Shikamaru with no wound - just the wipe of where the blood had been... Here we see poor restoration. I would need the RAW to tell for sure. URLHere is probably where you drew the conclusion that it is a smudge or whatever... URLHowever, there are THREE other possibilities: 1. Kishimoto, when drawing blood, tends to make it wear fast. It goes away rather quickly. 2. Kishimoto, or should I say his inkers, make a lot of small mistakes. 3. This image is at an angle. It may appear lower because of the distortion. Clearly in this image his nose is very low, drawing perspective towards his eyes. His cheek would also be low, in proportional distortion. I also think it's pretty hard to fake this. URLHidan's been stabbing people a long time. He knows what tearing flesh feels like. Please don't give me the typical a**-kissing rant that states that Shikamaru can fake ANYTHING. His possum acts have their limits, and he doesn't know any genjutsu. His stamina is just plain too low to use it. Now you may be totally right. He stands up ranting and raving about how it was fake blood. Frankly I stopped caring because though I do read a lot about him, I don't stare at him lovingly and examine his every feature. I care more about the plot, his life, his words. Who he is, really. So I miss things like that. I can't compare to fans who moan and wiggle on the floor at the very site of him, because I can't stare at him and squeal. I'm too busy analyzing the plot. Look, I'm sorry, but I lose patience with people who have to be right about him in every way very fast.

You can check to make sure, but I wouldn't risk it if I were you. You can link to just a translation, probably (like, a place with nothing but the text), but an actualy scanlation is probably a bad idea. And yeah, ShikaLee, my Avatar got darker. Finally. I originaly patched her together back when they didn't have a darker skin tone. Finally, I decided to get around to fixing that when I had the chance.

Okay. I get what you mean about that. I openly label myself as a fangirl without the negative following to it. I'm openly fangirl about more than one thing on various levels, but will hold back if the situation requires me to - I hope that part made sense.

Oh, got it. Naw. I don't think ANY character if flawless. I may ignore certain traits for other ones, but I can admit they're there. And definitely won't claim them to be "the best thing ever" by spouting out that they can't make mistakes. So, don't have to worry about that ^.^; Flaws are necesssary in everyone - fictional or real. They aren't interesting, to me, if they don't have some flaws. Or at least most characters aren't. Ouch. I am sorry to hear that your heart's been broken that many times. ._. I know you don't know me from squat and vice versa, but I do hope that you can find someone in person that won't break your heart and will be that one for you.

People think it's weird. My mom was a little worried... she says she hopes I grow out of it... it's been a year, and I'm more attached to him than some REAL people. It's getting out of hand... I get really defensive... it's like when you like a real guy, and some girl just steps in... it feels like that every time I see a fangirl. Yeah... I mean, I'm 16. So young love is pretty much open to failure. But it was still love. I honestly hope I can find someone who doesn't lie under a book or in the back of my mind. People... are so hard to deal with sometimes. Especially kids. They don't know what love is, they mess up, and the few of us that are smart get the short end of the stick. We're actually hurt, because we were actually in love. Well, I already said it so I'll be honest with you. I didn't choose it. Just like real love, it just happened. He's almost a thorn in my side now, because unlike a real guy, there's no dealing with it. No letting it out. Nothing. All fangirls make it hard for me. If you feel any affection towards him, it's going to hurt me. That's how sensitive I've been about this lately... I sometimes hope he dies so I can finally put this all behind me.

Could be... I think it depends on someone's view on what a fangirl/fanboy is. A fan that's more than just a simple "watch the series/read the book and think nothing of it"... is one way.
A Naruto character? No. It was before I even heard of Naruto. I don't even know if it had been created yet. Well, it can make people worry for those that have never experienced it. Or worry for those who have that want "out" of it. It's hard to explain it to some without them thinking you're just crazy - when you're not.
Eh. Sadly it is more often than not ("So young love is pretty much open to failure") but not always. I think when there's love, one also has to have hope. Love can bring so much pain, but... when it's both given and recieved, it makes it "worth it" - or so I hear. I've yet to find "that person" to love me like that and vice versa.
As for the "choosing" part, I was talking about the excerpt ^^' I don't think people can really choose to be in love with someone. Especially when it can hurt the way it can. Love is a strong emotion and I don't think it's something one can easily have or get rid of. But, if someone does happen to come along that can fill that emotion in a good way, then... yeah... good.
Would it be best if I not speak of Shikamaru outside of the context of the direct manga/anime in this guild? -shrugs- I don't post here often, so it wouldn't be difficult for me to do that.
The give gift thing isn't working here, is it? X_X

I am not out to sound like I'm better than others, but I always seem to be able to prove anyone wrong when they try to tell me they love him more than I do. They either love a RL boyfriend more, have other characters/celebrities/etc that they also "love", etc. Keep in mind when you say you love someone, that you should only say so if you truly, deeply love them. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to the term "love" ... and although many people use that term to describe liking/fandom/crush, it always irks me. I see fangirls saying "I love Sephy" and I'm like ... no you don't, you even said it somewhere that you just think he's hot, etc. That is not love, it's fandom. What I have is love."
