Shikamaru isn't going to diiiiie. Shikamaru ALWAYS reveals his plans to someone and then gets saved just when he thinks his time is up. Maybe this time it'll be Sakura who saves him. twisted
Seeing Sai step in front of Ino like that was so adorable. And Yamato kicking a** is always good in my book. heart Not a bad chapter, overall. ;o

Is Shikamaru too intelligent, or is Hidan too stupid?
Hidan is only using his brawns, I mean he just rushes towards Shikamaru without noticing something in his arm =/...(check the post I just made)

Captain Verd YEEES YAMATO AKSHINZ. Why does Shikamaru keep admitting he's out of chakra to people? For some reason he turns out lucky. However, in this chapter, he never admitted anything like that. He could've been playing possum again. He does that a lot. He also may somehow know (or feel, you know, intuition...) that Naruto has arrived. He also seems to have a pretty accurate biological clock,assuming it was about time Naruto arrived. But this translation is wrong. He didn't admit anything except how he tricked Hidan. Which was very stupid of him.

Juuyonbi_No_Peko_=3 Nephite Warrior when will this chapter be released? 11 January, 2 weeks from now =/...I hope it'll be the most kick-a** Naruto chapter in awhile Translations of a chapter do not come out before the chapter is released. Kishimoto REFUSES to give sneak peeks.

Though I'm surprised he hangs out with Grandpa Kakuzu over here yet he's a complete idiot. You'd figure he'd have some sort of experience. I'm going with the former. Shikamaru's always too smart for anyone's good.

Juuyonbi_No_Peko_=3 RAW IS OUT! SPOILERZ! Lawl, Kakuzu scares me now Dxxx, when he gets his mask off he looks pwetty ugleh >.<
And I got it wrong, Kakuzu has two hearts now, he fused with the other two. which makes him uglier, not that he was pretty from the beggining but...you get the point. D=
And yes, Shika is indeed dead by now, Hidan's chopping him into little pieces by now, meanwhile Team 7 is playing with Kakuzu's tentaclesno, Kakuzu said it had been a long time since he went through two hearts, scine he had 5 total to start, that means he no has 3 left. He simply had to use one of the ghost puppet thingys' heart to for his main body, making that mask break due to him not having the extra heart anymore. He now has the one heart for himself and two extra, (the wind and fire elements) making 3 hearts total, not 2.

I believe he said something along the lines of it belonging to the first Hokage? Though that doesn't make any sense... and he could be bluffing...
