My own opinion: it's going to go up, and either it or the Water Meat are going to be the two items from Christmas 2006 that eventually command the highest prices. That's because they're both pretty generic, reasonably attractive (well, the Water Meat has managed to charm some people!), and can be used with a lot of different avatars. They're also not holiday-specific.

But it's going to take some time - right now there are a LOT of them floating around, and not a whole lot of demand. What it's going to take is a bunch of new people who weren't here for the event who want them to drive the price up.

If you're looking for a quick profit, I'd look elsewhere. But if you are planning to sit on them for awhile, they might prove to be quite lucrative.
