Captain Verd rolleyes My bad, there's no other reason for people to like him than the cigarette. Everyone was totally wrong about him before, but you sure showed 'em. You taught them the way of the Gospel. And so Shikalee stood upon the mountain and raised her arms to the heavans, and her eye was the eye of God striking fear into the men below. At last she was greeted with praise. Shikalee was Queen of Bandwagon and all would tremble before her for always being the first to love God, to take God into her heart and preach his message to the savage Jiraiya fans, and she will reign forever on earth and in heaven next to Our Lord Shikamaru for all eternity. I don't understand. I like Gospel. It makes me laugh. Seriously, not that much of him changed. He got a hotter bod and started smoking. That's mostly it. >_>;; And you said Shakespeare was nonsense. xd Every time I posted it you'd complain. And here you are, writing a prelude to some wild novel. Calling him a lord is pretty ridiculous, though. I mean, this excerpt you typed here was merely to mock me, and in that connotation, I do believe that the boy has too many fans now. I think more people should see him as you do.

Shikalee Kuroi Ryuuka I think there's a comic somewhere on DeviantArt about this. xD It even says on how he's so badass that he should become Hokage. (Which gets a nice comment from Naruto.) Has Kishimoto switched favorites now? I mean, he has said that his favorite is Sasuke, so maybe Shikamaru has taken that spot. D: God damn you Shika, get back to being the lazy a** that you are! Only Naruto and Lee are supposed to be that badass/determined with stronger opponents. T__T @Shikalee : Dur, cause he's Shikamaru! Master of over 1000 techniques, all learned and mastered in a single ******** week. He's like a crazed combination of Sasuke/Naruto/Sarutobi. XD I mean, he's suddenly badass fighter [Sasuke], knows more techniques then makes sense [Sarutobi], and managed to get the chakra knives manipulation to be almost instant within a week. [Naruto] He better be getting his arse kicked good, then be saved. D< Or atleast get his butt pwned by Tsunade when he gets back, she needs someone to rage on. Shikalee I do believe that the boy has too many fans now. Shikamaru has ALWAYS had thousands of fans. Ever since I joined Naruto fandom about two years ago, I've seen Shikamaru fanboys/fangirls everywhere on the internetz. It's not some sudden boost of popularity, he's a popular character type because a lot of the people who get involved in fandom feel like they can relate to a "lazy genius" character. Including you, from what you've said of him. Nobody's specialer than all those other fans, everybody is just ONE FAN in a sea of them. I don't claim myself to be Yamato's greatest fangirl just because I've liked him for a long time. Feeling threatened by newer fans is ridiculous; you should be glad you have people who'll discuss the character with you and just get on with what you do to show your fondness for the character. If your love for him is so pure and special you don't need to rant about people coming to love the character, just feel secure in the knowledge that you're soooo much better than them and move the hell on.

Shikamaru has ALWAYS had thousands of fans. Ever since I joined Naruto fandom about two years ago, I've seen Shikamaru fanboys/fangirls everywhere on the internetz. It's even 2D? =/ Anyway, Shikamaru wasn't number 5 IN JAPAN until last year. It's weird that it's this way in America, considering more fans read the American version than the Japanese version. I never said I was the greatest anything. I was just saying it's irritating that everyone hates him one minute, and the next think he's the coolest thing. He hasn't changed, and since Asuma's death, anyone with a brain knew this was going to happen. He was going to kick a**. People don't discuss him. They go, "I like him because he's hot/lazy/gay/a genius/has a huge pe--" and it never is about his skills, his jutsu, NOTHING. SOME fanboys will discuss it. On a REALLY good day. I know this because I was part of a Shikamaru guild. Actually, a few. Only a handful of us; like, 4 people, would ACTUALLY discuss him.

I just saw the scans and read the translations, and:
SPOILERS
( AHAHAHAHAHA. It isn't a burial ground, that was a mistranslation, apparently. It's a place that only "kin" can go to, as in Konoha shinobi. Hidan's all "I'M IMMORTAL SUCKA", but apparently Shikamaru's "kin" will keep watch over Hidan in that giant hole to make sure he never escapes. And he blows him up just as an added precaution.
THEN ASUMA'S GHOST APPEARS AND CONGRATULATES SHIKAMARU FOR AVENGING HIM AHAHAHAHAHD AKJSDBHKAJSDH
Oh, Kishimoto. I no longer have any doubts about Naruto. It jumped the shark about a year ago, sry2say. sad )
Edit: LOL OH WAIT. By "kin", he actually means "deer".

Mostly I was just amusing myself. xD Shikamaru has certainly grown a bit since we first met the little wanker, though I still find it fun to make fun of how little many of his fans seem to understand him, including me. o3o And no Shikalee, I was not sucking his 2-d pecker, that causes paper cuts and makes him soggy. xd Shikalee More fecking Shikamaru fans... I liked him from the beginning, yanno! It's annoying when a ton of people finally catch on. "OH, HE IS COOL!!" God. It sounded more like a joke on how much spotlight he's gotten for he last couple of chapters. And I have to say I like Shikamaru, but I'm a proud fan of Lee. *flaming eyes thinger* Shikalee I like Shikamaru's growth. People like him because he's a "lazy genius." I like his outlook on strategy and on life. He doesn't have to be lazy to be the same person. He can grow, change, and still be himself. I just meant that I've usually only seen Naruto and Lee be that, for lack of any better word, determined to kick a**. Though, I feel rather idiotic for not thinking that comment through. xD Every single one of the Genin before the jump had that determination when it came down to it, though I guess Lee and Naruto were more... vocal about it. Shikalee Please. That is such a fangirl/boy response. It doesn't matter who the hell he is. He was a failure. A loser. It's cool to see people grow. But according to Shikamaru, he's had this weapon the whole time. If his ancestral land holds any bearing, power, or strength, I don't see why he didn't call upon it's wrath long ago. It wasn't a fanboy responce. It was me being an a**. And as for that ancesteral land, perhaps he's just holding back, a trump card of sorts. Though, that huge explosion makes me think that theres no need for the trump card. Or, makes me hope that he's not out of tricks yet, the fights with Shikamaru are always more fun to watch for some reason. Shikalee I think Tsuande should definately give him a good wallup. Shikamaru defied her commands, and was only able to go on the mission because of Kakashi. Atleast you agree with me on something. xD You don't defy your leaders commands, unless said leader is incompetent, and Tsunade is anything but.
