Hey I heard that the summer hasnt been to warm down there, is that true?

Wouldn't suprise me. I'm on the Sunshine Coast and it only really started to get hot here a few weeks ago.

been really hot here in perth @_z lots of 40+ days

Must be nice. Although I can't complain too much up my way. Canada was enjoying 15 - 20C weather up until nearly mid-January. Now, of course, we're paying for it. *looks out at the half buried cars and all that white* It might as well be a snowy desert here. sweatdrop

Seriously... Tasmania should leave the Australian Commonwealth and declare itself it's own country!!! I hear that that's what is already taught in Japanese schools, and since we're left off the map anyway, no one would miss us until they realised that Tasmania actually has a lot of money which gives to the rest of the 'mainland states'. Especially Victoria!!

Hey.. hey, i live in Coffs Harbour, home of the Big Bannana, and you shouldn't compare it to Tasmania.

I'm sure Tasmania is a world less boring.

Anyway. What we need to do with Tasmania is join it back onto Aus without warning, and then watch the ensueing hilarity and confusion between it and the unsuspecting Victorians. Mwahahahah. It could be a whole new reality T.V show. "The Wedge (Between Vic and Tas)" or something, i dunno, but it would be funny anyway.
