Well why would anyone think Obito is Tobi, or that the Akatsuki leader is Yondaime, or Rin is the last Akatsuki member? well the first of those three things is the only theory I don't think is just stupid. Sure there is the near anogram between Tobi and Obito that could infer something, but their is also the mask that only has a right eye slot, the swirl on the mask could allude, if it is tobi, to him having the same mange sharingan ability, same black hair, it almost looks like part of his body has the appearance of being reconstructed. I don't make a theory on just one iffy thing, I try to find at least a few things that make it a more secure possiblity.

I'm not saying it isn't valid, it's just... well, everyone makes theories about everything, even stupid s**t. Yeah, the guy could be Sai's brother OR he could just be a new character. Same with Leader, Purple Chick, and Tobi.
