Luna Ishukan When I was in college, my Honors English teacher showed that to us, and allowed us to throw darts at it... If I held your breath, at least we would touch. ________________________________
XDDD That is pure genius. Who's your teacher?
I got that in an e-mail a while ago. Apparently illiteracy is the "amazing power of the human mind". >_>;; What the ******** are they thinking, those scientists? ________________________________

lol yes. I remember these far too well!!!! I think its kind of cool that the brain can read THAT without it compromising with the actual ORDER of the letters. I find it quite facinating at most. THAT kind of "txt tlk" is fine with me as lonf as it'd like that and not in the every day language.

Oh my god! Maybe that's why people at school aren't writing right. It's because they are getting these damn chainmail's that don't type right and are reading about University's that study this and so the figure it's okay to write like that because they think you can read it anyways.

The strange thing is, this letter is hanging in my school library.
We should make electroshock thereapy mandatory for everyone of the human race so it's impossible to understand a word if it's done that way.
Has anyone noticed it's easier to read if alll the lrttees are mixed up, but if only one letetr is out of place you can hardly read it?

rae-chan-sensei My mom gets tons of chainletters and forwards, and always sends them to me. sweatdrop When I checked my email this morning, this is what was waiting for me: Quote: Subject: Fw: Spell Check??? > Subject: Spell Check??? > Don't even think about using spell check!!!!!!!! > fi yuo cna raed tihs, yuo hvae a sgtrane mnid too. Cna yuo raed tihs? Olny > 55 plepoe out of 100 can. > i cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The > phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde > Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the > olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit > pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a > pboerlm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by > istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Azanmig huh? yaeh and I awlyas tghuhot > slpeling was ipmorantt! if you can raed tihs forwrad it. > > ONLY FORWARD IF YOU CAN READ THIS I was a little scared that what it was saying was true: I could read it with only the first and last letters being in the correct spots. It's like an evolved form of txt tlk. What are your opinions about this? And has anyone seen this before? (I put this in Txt Tlk Horror Stories because I wasn't sure if it would fit anywhere else...)Most people (if I'm not wrong) know chain mail is never right. I tested one out on another site, took a screenie of my warning, showed it to everyone posting it, and those people believed me. However, it was different. In the one I tested, it said you'd get more than 999,9999,9999 gold. The translation! Um... I can't. wow.

I can read that without a problem. Now, writing it out is another matter entierly(sp?).
My Adv. Computers teacher has one of those posted in her class. I love them.
