My favorite movies are usually not in english, and have slow-moving or nonexistant plots and great cinematography.
Examples? L'enfant. Divine Intervention. The Italian. Riding Alone For Thousands of Miles. Mongolian Ping Pong. Nobody Knows. Vodka Lemon.
I also like The Fountain, Paradise Now, Water, Best In Show, Waiting for Guffman, Raising Arizona, Waking Life, Four Eyed Monsters, Brick, Snatch, and Little Miss Sunshine.
If you've seen/like any of those movies, let me know.
Edit: I'm looking forward to Sunshine coming out on DVD (Omfg I wanted to see it so badly, it kills me that I didn't) and I really want to go see Into The Wild. (Sean Penn's new movie, which has a lame title but awesome concept.) 3nodding
