You're right, it was originally medical glue for the army.

You can buy was is sterilized crazy glue in the first aid section... I think they call it "New Skin" It's a liquid bandage thing.

I wonder if it has any crafty uses............

Note to self: Buy "New-Skin" for personal first-aid kit.

Various uses for crazy glue in my life-

My big toenail is currently hed together with crazy glue because it cracked down the middle to where it's too "new" to trim off. (I was onpointe in ballet for sevenish years so my toenails are really brittle)

My boss (the head of the theatre costume shops) keeps a vile of crazy glue in her box of "Last minute lifesavers" along with sharpie markers and gaffers tape. She says it's part of a theater's life blood.
