I live in Quebec, so french is mandatory.
My french skills are...somewhat lacking. My french grammar makes me want to curl up into a ball and sob, because it's just so bad. But I've listened to english my entire life, so I know what sounds right and what doesn't, but I hardly ever was exposed to french so my ear for it is not that great.
So I suppose I'm bilingual, but my french shames me. xD But I really don't care for the language (in other words I've hated all of my french teachers to this date with a passion) so I don't suppose I'll really ever improve.

Y'all have three elephants, two lion and 14 puupies in your pants! I'mm semi-fluent in Spanish, and I know a tiny bit of Italian. Enough to say, "Mi chiamo Joe," and, "Non parlo l'italiano molto bene."

I took three years of French in high school, and I know bits and pieces of Spanish. I just finished a year of Hellenistic Greek at college for my language credit (I don't know why I didn't just stick with French!!). It was really hard, but also pretty cool to learn.

I know a decent amount of Spanish. But it's extra work typing in the special symbols for it here. neutral

I'd like to say I'm reasonably competent in Japanese, after all I am studying it at University. English is my native tongue of course but I have a great want to learn more languages. On the agenda are the Italic languages or French and Spanish; on the Germanic side: Dutch and German. Of course it's a pipe dream for me to be able to speak all of these languages competently, but I do hope to move to Europe and learn a few. I'm quite adamant I will learn Dutch, and German seems to be being forced upon me due to my friends at University.

I'm pretty fluent in Spanish, just 'cause I live right next to the border now and I want to talk to my next-door neighbors sweatdrop

I'm only eleven, so I haven't had that much time to learn languages, but my aunt, uncle, and cousin live in Germany so I can speak a teeny bit of that, and my best friend moved with her family from Japan more than two and a half years ago, and I picked up a lot of Japanese from her. Enough, at least, so that I can get words from a conversation and know what the hell they're talking about. ^^ yay me.

I've taken three years of German at my school. I understand it better than I speak it, though. I love the language. When spoken properly, it really is beautiful. A lot of people think Germans talk like they're hawking up a hairball, but they really don't. xp
I know very broken Spanish, in bits and pieces, because a lot of my friends took Spanish, and my town isn't too far from Indianapolis, which has a strangely large Hispanic population.
Random French I know as well, since my father took it all through his schooling. Against his will, mind you. It's certainly a sore spot among our family having a French surname.
For sure, I can say "Your mom!" in all three of those languages. Because that's all one ever needs to know in this world. mrgreen

Ah, French for the win! I love French. xD I am, however, not fluent in it. I plan to be a French teacher, but im only in the 11th grade. I am taking French 2 this year. For the most part, I speak french farely well. biggrin As for other languages, I know bits in pieces in some. Some Spanish, Japanese, Vietnamese. Etc. ( DON'T HATE THE ETC.)

My mother tongue is Dutch, but I am in bilingual education, so I get half of my classes in English. I also speak German and French.
