Omg.

I watched this special on the Hippies who started the movement in San ******** brilliant.

They all lived together in apartments having sex and sharing drugs together.

Needed some food? You'd get some.

Needed clothing? You'd get some.

Needed a roof over your head? You'd get a roof over your head and you'd be living with about 540285048 other people.

It was the perfect way of life.

I think I was born in the wrong era.

the way the hippies shared their resources was wonderful
but WHAT they shared would've caused them self-destruction...
real communism would not self-destruct
because all members would look out for each other
and would prevent their fellows from doing harm to themselves
and such.

I'm not being sarcastic. XD I would have made a wonderful hippie.

Though, communism and hippie-life is way different. Hippies are anti-government, while communism is a government.

Though they're very similar. Except one has rules, and one doesn't.

I'm a self-proclaimed hippie.

Minus tons of drugs and unprotected sex.
(I havn't gotten laid in forever. ;-; )

Though I think Communism is great.
If I believed that the world could delete all power hungry thoughts, I would be a communist.

But, Hell, even I want to rule everything.
Kinda, contridics my self-proclaimed hippie life style though.

Anarcho-Communism makes more sense than the government run one...If you replace capitalism with a totalitarian communist government, then you're replacing the master in the factory for a different one, only the new one will be appointed by the state. And anarcho-communism has worked, the town of Catalonia was without money, police etc for a while during the Spanish civil war before the nationalists took over.

Im glad to see someone else who knows what anarcho-communism is, most people don't think the two are compatible...but thats cos a lot of people don't know what anarchism is.

Im doing a module on Anarchism in my degree next semester, Im well excited biggrin

I'm not a communist.
I am a socialist.

All governments corrupt,
because when you put things on paper
many political theorists write down their philosophies
they do factor everything in like all people are the same.
But they aren't and people have ideas,
and things change.
Some Most people want to gain and keep power.

Because of the fact that people think,
they can find ways to take advantage,
and classes will come forth.

So all political systems disrupt.
...even Communism
...even Anarcho-Communism
...even Socialism
...even Democracy
