Woot for Meg Cabot!!
- The Mediator Series
- 1-800-WHERE-R-U
- Avalin High
- How to be Popular
- Teen Idol

And Scott Westerfeld!!
- Midnighters (my current addiction)
- Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras
- Peeps
- The Last Days

Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods isn't half bad either.
I'm looking forward to buying Masquerade, the sequel, along with the New Moon Special Edition.

Sarah Dessen must-reads:
- The Truth About Forever
- This Lullaby

And I think I'll stop there ^^;;

Ok...Patricia C. Wrede has this really good quartet out called The Enchanted Forest Chronicles. The first book is Dealing with Dragons, and, although it is absolutely in no way like Twilight (plot wise), it is reaaaaaally good. And pretty funny.

I know a few good ones like Silver Kiss, Blue Bloods, and the Vampire Kisses series. Anne Rice is pretty good too but only if you like the traditional vampireology.

Well if your looking for a romance like Edward and Bella you could check out the Vampire Kisses series smile
Yes. I agree. I read all four of the Vampire Kisses books and they were all wonderful. Then everyone told me "If you like Vampire Kisses you will love Twilight." Well saying that I just had to go buy it. Well I love both of them. They have a lot of simularities. Yay for Vampire Kisses and Twilight!!

Inkheart and Inkspell are pretty good books, and the final of the trilogy comes out in spring (Inkdeath) (All by Cornelia Funke). They're pretty good.

Also the Maximum Ride (by James Patterson) books are awesome.

Neither series have vampires, but they're still good.

Agree to that.

Eragon and Eldest (by Christopher Paolini) are pretty good, too. ^^

Don't get me wrong
I love the Twilight series, but there are tons of other books that are really good too
you just have to look around
Meg Cabot is a really good author
Anne of Green Gables is always a good book to read
the book Girl, 15 Charming, but Insane is extremely funny
Dreamland by Sara Dessen was really good
and of course the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series is always good
and tons of other books
can't think of 'em all right now
but there are tons of other books out there that are good

You really want me to list all the awesome books I love to read?

for vampirish books read Peeps and Last Days by Scott Westerfeld. Actually, read everything Westerfeld has written, mostly Uglies, Pretties, Specials, and Extras. I like So Yesterday too.

Cornelia Funke is an awesome writer, read Inkheart and Inkspell.

Read Lord of the Rings. I hope you know who that's by.

Anything by Ted Dekker. He's the awesomest writer ever, and he writes a lot of different stuff. I have no idea what you're looking for, so...read the Circle Trilogy.

Eragon and Eldest are good books, but Paolini isn't the greatest writer (sorry, harsh reality) Eragon (the character) needs to DIE.

Maximum Ride!!!!! Those books are soooo awesome. They're by James Patterson, who's an awesome writer.

I could probably go on, but I'll stop here for now...

Interred with Their Bones by Jennifer Lee Carrell; it's sort of like The Da Vinci Code (also reccommend) but with Shakespeare. I think it might be a little better, but that's just me.

There's always the essential vampire reads like Dracula and Anne Rice. *has her copy of the former sitting beside her*

The Crazed by Ha Jin
October Sky by Homer Hickam
Moby d**k by Herman Melville
Anything by Charles Dickins, Shakespeare is good too. Oh! James Patterson, Anne Perry, Agatha Christie, and Kathy Reichs; they may not have to do with vampires, but they are AMAZING.

Twilight.

Anything by Diana Wynne Jones is excellant. I suggest Howl's Moving Castle, then Castle in the Air. After that, start reading the Chrestomanci Chronicles, and other Chrestomanci books, such as The Pinhoe Egg and Conrad's Fate. Try reading some of Holly Black's books, too. Tithe, Valient, and Ironside are very good. Cassandra Clare has a book called City of Bones that's good, too.
