enigma_098 I wonder why Haji didn't appear to Saya in the movie? He was too busy patrolling Paris? ;P *shot* lol Saya was ALOT more independent in the movie, maybe she just wanted to act on her own free whim? *shrugs*

The movie was well made but the plot kinda sucked. The whole point was for her to kill 3 chiroptera. There were no sub stories. The episodes of Blood+ have more plot than that. As the blockbuster man said: "It's like a sandwich without the meat." It did make me sad. I was hoping for more. And a Haji would have been nice.
Though here is my question: If Blood+ is a branch from Blood:TLV why did Saya's eyes change? What ever happened to her sword? Where was Haji? I'm sure there was more but I kinda forgot the rest.

Okay guys, just so you know, Blood: The Last Vampire was made about 10 years before the anime.... so yes, there are alot of differences.
Blood+ was inspired by Blood:TLV, and the timeframe is set about 30 years later.
I hope that clears up why there was no "such and such" character in the movie... as the movie was first 3nodding

Maybe in the time it took for it to come out there were changes (evolution over time thing) maybe different story board artist, they thought a cuter more 'lovable' Saya would be better.... Idk. Very lose guess. As for Haji, it would have been nice but I think he really wasn't needed in the movie.

I just said before you posted that the movie was made 10 years before the anime o.0 Yeah - I knew that. I actually saw Blood before I saw Blood+ then went to go see it again. I was just wondering, if it's supposed to be a branch from it, why didn't they keep some things the same? other than David, Lewis and Saya being in the same group together there was very little similar between the two.

I don't really know =/
There was a decade between the two, so I'm going to guess that entirely different people worked on the anime, and created a new vision.
or something confused

I just said before you posted that the movie was made 10 years before the anime o.0 I know that Ozzy said it was made 10 yeah, but it was really 7 years, not that it matters, but Saphire Fox Queen also raises a good point, Why the hell are her eyes suddenly red, when her eyes are blue in the movie? I've watched the interview on Youtube, it was about the creators of Blood+ And Saya's (modern) Voice actor, they mearly said they were trying to just bring her back, in a more modern way. But then did change a bunch of things, as I mentioned before her eyes were blue, the Nurse/Lady that accompanied Saya through the movie also said something about it. Something like "angel with blue eyes" or something. Her sword, she would just use an average Katana in the movie~ Or anything that would slide out of the Sheath (can't spell) And Hagi....well thats no real loss >.> He's annoying XD;;; *laughs and gets mauled by Hagi fangirls*

He was the one that helped Saya so that Saya could help Red Shield...he was useful...plus he kind of served as a key to her past and kept her sane.

Hagi was just down-right annoying, he gave Saya her sword, and when he goes to fight himself, he's gets so owned, each and every single time, except the last battle, which the considerably lowered Diva and Amshel's power level to Saya and Hagi's for a quick ending. And I didn't call everyone a fangirl, Just the majority or Blood+ fans are all like "OHMEGAWDS HAGI IS A SEX GOD" So I'm just going by that statement, they're the ones that seem sorta likely to maul someone apart for insulting they're "FAV BISHIE" If ya know what I mean ;P
