I made a post about this in the GD forum a while back. I basically said that I like The Simpsons better, because I've felt that overall it's a funnier and smarter show. I know it's reached it's peak, but come on, the show's been on for 18 years... My feeling is that The Simpsons in its peak years was better than Family Guy has ever been. The jokes require some thinking sometimes that requires more than just "getting" the jokes, but plays on previous events that have happened in history or in pop culture.

In addition, Homer is so much more lovable, in my opinion, than Peter. He has a soft side, and although he can be stupid at times, he has good intentions and really does know how to be a good husband and father.

Family Guy is very good, also the Simpsons but i watch Family Guy more.

I've seen every episode of the Simpsons (except movie) but I haven't seen every episode of Family Guy so FG has more to offer atm. Besides that they're both hilarious.
