ok...get the best weapon you can find then get lots of healing potions and revives, mages souls, hermit blood, warrior bane, knights blood, and lots of scrolls(I used kite elk and mistral when I fought XP so while i was fighting I put them on healing duty while i fought the core and when it went into physical tolerance I used them to cut right through its hp)or you could use blackrose but I'd suggest mistral and elk cause i beat cubia on the first time.
