Welcome back to Net Slum and another edition of "Television Shows that Need to Die". I'm Slate Scholar, and you are really, really not gonna like what I have to say.

The Slate Scholar

Over the past several decades, television shows have developed into something new. Everything from reality shows to anime, puppets on a stick to CGI graphics. Interesting plot lines have developed and left you clinging on for more. Those that don't die out as quickly as they came on.

However, one television show has proven that some shows can somehow slip through that broadcast; its name is G4, having just enough viewers to not be called an utter and complete failure (just an utter failure). As a gaming "show", if it can truly be called that, G4 gives its perspective on games, informing the viewer on if it is worthy of playing.

The show proves that though you may have a half hour on the air, you can go through it without the viewers knowing exactly what they watched. As Stewie from Family Guy would say "I can't understand what they are saying, but there is a lot of movement and colors, so it keeps me interested." No one could say it better.

This "show" is proof you can actually shut down a game without ever being sued. For example, Grand Theft Auto's porn secret aired on their show, and within a week the rating of the game shot through the roof. The team of G4 has several subjects of, which are so rushed through you cannot understand what is happening. Never staying on one subject for long, they throw out ratings like candy from child molesters to children.

This hoax has gone on long enough. There is only so much you can say before you begin repeating phrases and ratings (the reasons of which are mainly the same).

That is why G4 needs to DIE.

"...I don't understand those RPG things anyways. Seems like all you do is run around and buy stuff."

Anyway, just cause they don't like something you do is no reason to be nasty. They hate A LOT of stuff. Just deal with it. You don't have to act like babies about it. Who cares if Adam and Morgan dislike .hack? You sound like those horribly annoying people on the X-Play boards who whine about how they gave DBZ games low scores and how they made fun of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. Good lord... rolleyes

Actually not really. they are just bagging on .hack because its overmarketed. Well thats what I think anyways.

There is no reason to take the opinions stated on a television show this personally. It's ridiculous. You are more than welcome to dislike the show, but calling people who have opposing veiws "dumb" is just childish.

That guy has an annoying voice.
. Most online games HAVE NO STORYLINE. G.U. does and it's creative.

But some do. .Hack could have made a storyline MMO. Surprise surprise its possible. Or have you never hear of City of Heroes or The Matrix Online. I don't want to see people saying .hack doesn't have enough fanbase because it does. I tried the .hack games and have to say i felt it lacked the online that is a major feature of the anime/manga. Though that video was harsh there was some truth at the end. Why would i want to play in a simulated MMO when i can play a real one. Even without a storyline assuming your not some power gaming you can just role-play. That's right it possible to role-play on MMOs surprised

Hey FPS have storylines aswel i'll have you know wink . Just because there pointless doesn't mean there not fun. If you don't like people having goes at your genre then returning fire on there's is even worse.
