Shouldnt they combine neopets with gaia??

If Gaia admin took over Neopets site, it would be amazing.....I hate TNT and gaia is way more relaxed about things. Is this realistic? Of course not....but it would be an awesome combo in theory.

Thing is, in order it to work in anything resembling a positive manner for Gaia, Gaia would have to acquire 100% control and initiate an immediate rule change on NP right from the start. And that's just poor business.

Neopets doesn't allow people to say "bikini" or "gay." Gaia lets people say "clitoris" and "transsexual." There is a massive scale between the allowable content on both sites, and sister sites should not have such radical differences if they expect a successful partnership.

I don't think so. The two web sites have different rules and sometimes I just like to come to gaia and get away from all the cartoons. (ANIME ISN'T A CARTOON!)

Anime, deriving from "Japanese Animation", is a form of cartooning.
(Thus the word animation). So, it still is.

But obviously that would never happpen.
Not a very good idea in my opinion, though.

Even though Neopets and Gaia are different,I agree a yes.Why?:
1.We can make a deal that you can bring your neopet to gaia.
2.It can be displayed on your profile(both neopet and gaia profile)

Why can't you just share the reasons here? It's what this thread is about, after all.

Absolutely, not. The rules on Neopets are too harsh and to restricting you can't even talk about romance. This is why it can't happen. But what they should do is make some forums or guilds 18+ adult. Whilst prohibiting people under that age from viewing those forums. Despite, the fact that we have too many children running around Gaia; it doesn't mean we can't have two orders. One for 18+ and another for under age.

I don't think gaia is very appropriate to the younger set that does neopets. I mean I love gaia and all, just there is more freedom of speech here~
