Lore listened to him as the next few dusty rays of light peaked through the clouds. Yawning, she said nothing for a moment and finally murmured something incoherent before her head dropped onto his lap. She was dead asleep, her chest rising and falling softly.

He smiled softly at this, then wondered what he was to do. After looking around a bit, he spied a cave. Gently lifting Lore as to not disturb her sleep, he walked in. There was a wolf mother and her cubs there, and she was nursing them when he entered. The mother let out a low growl, fear in her eyes. Mobius merely lay Lore on the ground and sat. After a few moments, the wolf decided he was no threat, and tolerated his prescence. He summoned a large black casket from the ground, bearing a large octogram on it's lid, and climbed in, pulling the heavy lid over him. The wolves were at unease during the summoning, but calmed down when the coffin didn't do anything. And so he began the Slumber...

Lore woke up around 3:00 in the afternoon, blinking away the sleep in her eyes as she looked at her watch. With a light groan, she sat up more and noticed the mother wolf staring at her wearily. Glancing around quickly, Lore cautiously stood up. The mother wolf growled warningly, but Lore merely walked out of the cave and into the sunlight, taking her time at the shops and malls since Mobius was due to "sleep" another 4 hours.
((I have a few ideas to make this thread more actiony and drama-ish...wanna add any of your own ideas Capn'?))

I noticed that too....ugh >< I want Lore and Mobius to get a little more...closer so that I can introduce Lore's more troubled past...spice things up abit. Another vampire incident might be good (like someone from the vampire clan checkin up on ol' Moby), but the latter was a random idea))

((WEll, for the vamps you could probably just have an old rival of Mobi's be sent to check on him. Possible what nots coming from that is a love triangle, the friend using Lore as black mail, a fight, etc etc etc. For the getting close part, I believe the best way is Mobius planning something romantic-ish for Lore (taking her out, going for a quiet walk) and we can take things from there *wink* lol, cya later))

He could sense the pulses of the beasts not far from him, and the heat of the sun's rays on the cave surface. He'd have to wait a long time, so it mighht just be the perfect time to plan something special for Lore... He thought about it long and hard, going over all the facts and figures in his head. Sadly, he found there weren't many of them. They barely knew each other. He was going to have to fix that...

Lore wandered around the mall a long time. She didn't have a gig till tomorrow...she paused in front of a old fashion shop that was going bankrupt (as the sign up front announced in bright green letters). She thought of Mobius and how old he was and went into the shop. A array of gifts from old porclein dolls to marble grandfather clocks. 20 minutes later, just as the sun rays were dying down, Lore ran back towards the cave with the gift jingling in her pocket.

He could feel th sun setting. It was almost time. He longed, he yearned, he practically begged for the sun to leave, so that he could be with his beloved once more. His coffin was like a prison; it always was. Each Slumber was a struggle for sanity, but with Lore to think about it was much easier.

Lore reached the cave just as the last rays died behind the trees. Holding her knees and panting heavily, Lore stood up, her hair gently tossled from the wind, giving her the after-glow bed head effect. She had also bought a new outfit at the mall and was now wearing it. It was a forest green blouse with silk strings crisscrossing and holding together the front. She had slipped into a dark red velvet skirt and black sandals, Mobius's present ticking in her pocket. The wolves had temporarily left their cave. Lore stared at the coffin, willing it to open. She was so excited, she wanted to give him his present as soon as possible.

The coffin lid slid off on its own, making an eerie creaking noise. It fell to the ground with a thunderous CLUNK! and Mobius sprang into a sitting position like some sort of twisted jack-in-the-box. His eyes opened suddenly, and he smiled at Lore. "Hi there." He cracked the bones in his neck and back, and stretched a bit. "Those caskets are so confining..."
