"I love all people I allow into my coven, but you most of all. If you'd have it, I'd like to be your mate." He smiled at her, his fangs gleaming in the dim light.

"M-M-My....?" She blushed horridly. "Lovers?"

He pulled out a ring from his pocket; it was encrusted with a large, blood-red ruby. "This was passed down to me by my father, who got it from his father before him. He said to only offer it to the one I deem most worthy. Anna, will you give me the pleasure of being a husband?"

Her heart, though dead, was beating faster then it ever had, "I.... I... me?..." she didn't know what to say. She cupped his hand with hers, and closed it on the ring. "I... i don't want you to do this so quickly. There might be another.. Someone better then me." Tears threatened to escape her eyes.
