Even if you did have to, that would be an easy check.

Rebel or not, I'd bet my doubts on them actually giving two hoots on our being rebellion too. Probably think it's just a ploy to prevent theft. But that's for the persuasion check against an unfriendly target.

Maybe go for a bluff to raise their status against us, but that's still a 15 or so to beat off the bat plus will.
