Personality
Erebus is a blunt individual. He doesn't try to go around in circles with words, preferring to get to the point rather than tip-toe and sugar coat his words. He had little patience for those that he deems incompetent and would rather leave them behind than waste any more of his precious time in their company. Erebus doesn't offer second chances to those that try to enter his life and the the moment they prove themselves faulty is the moment he leaves them behind. There's little warmth in this stallion's heart.

Erebus is calculating, cold, distant, and all things necessary to survive in the inky depths of the ocean that he once called home. He is distrustful and overwhelmingly negative in his views of others. Whatever compassion and joy he held died in his youth as he was exposed to the travesties and cruelties of the world he lived in. It was a place of dog-eat-dog, and there was too much risk in having compassion and empathy.

Erebus is an unwilling shaman, connected to the Deep One through dream and spirit. He finds himself incredibly at odds with his lot in life and is constantly battling against the call of the Deep One. The demon of the depths taints his dreams, sending him visions of possible futures filled with blood, pain, and darkness. Although these visions are just visions, the experiences within them seem almost tangible and the pain inflicted within them becomes quite real when Erebus awakens. His body aches and limbs that had been bitten or ripped off ache and scream out in pain hours after he's opened his eyes. Despite Erebus' best efforts to escape the horrid dreams, they continue to follow him and haunt him.
