vasily stands up noticing the girl they had been lugging around was awake he walked up to her "hello i dont belive we have been introduced. im vasily" he said smiling warmly at her while shouldering his rifle and snapping off a salute

if there is some one after us then ill make a perimeter
the water leaves altus's cloak and forms a circle about ten feet around the house
the red liquid comes out and forms into a snake with bird wings
if they come and step in the water i will know
it flys into the air and sits down on the girls shoulder liking the warmth
