That title Lance held would change hands in future events that the Snagems would get caught up in. Lance would become merely a Prince. But he still had the clout to keep Clair in line. "Neither would she cross the bunch in the Dragon's Den, or so I hear. They apparently got Lance on speed dial too." she said, giving a bit of a laugh. "Huh, is that so? Well she must of gotten bold to cause such a commotion." Ryan says.

"No. It took me four times to finally beat her. and she was so fed up with my skulking and despondent 14 year old self, she refused me entry and sent me home." Ryan explains to Whitney.

"She didn't think much of me after that first loss. and with each loss, it seemed my despondence grew. The pain of what my brother had done was still rather fresh and their were still night I cried myself to sleep. Plus my anger at her grew as well. See, my brother beat her, first try. and every time she beat beat me, she would taunt me. and was very spiteful about it. like she enjoyed seeing my pain and despair grow. When I finally did beat her, I might of said something in the heat of the moment. She was all about dishing it out, but she couldn't take a single retort back." Ryan explains to her.

Chuck learned to choose his words wisely, because he could punt Chuck down the beachside if need be." she said.

"You know, you all must have done something good around these regions. With the rangers for the most part gone, the city doesn't seem as tense anymore."

The cities do seem far less tense. You don't really notice it in the smaller cities, they usually avoided too much interference from the Rangers. But enter any city? yeah, they were noticeable. Especially here in Goldenrod. But considering this the the biggest city in the region, yeah. Rangers wanted to make their presence known here. It was the same over in Kanto and Saffron."
