Kain would stand by lifting off of his knee. Now standing above her He held out his arms. "Im sorry I don't remember. The nothingness stops me. I wish I could. But please keep that silver thing, so you don't forget me. One of us losing our memories is enough." With his arms out for a hug Kain would tear as he tried so hard to remember a phrase, "Gah what was it! I- I heart you Kairi".

He would then lean down and kiss her forehead staying there for a bit, almsot waiting for something but he couldn't recall what.

Walking to the dresser he picked up the old camera they had bought in kalos, it was simple and even before he was mad Kain had trouble with it. "Can we make a memories for me? Before you go?"

Kairi's hand would grip the ring tighter, not wanting to let it go. "I could never forget you Kain, I promise. But, just to make you feel better..." Kairi would remove her necklace, unclasping it so that she could remove the Pokeball that was currently attached to it, attaching it to her belt instead. She would hold the ring between two fingers, making sure that Kain was watching her before looping the chain of the necklace through the ring and putting the necklace back around her neck. "There. Since you haven't proposed properly, I'll wear it like this for now, alright? And once you can, I'll wear it on my finger like I'm supposed to. Until then, it's a reminder of what will be once this is all over," Kairi would say, tears forming in her eyes, though she wished they wouldn't. She let out a small chuckle at what Kain had to say though. "I love you, too, Kain."

The familiar feeling of Kain's lips against her forehead left Kairi feeling at home, even if things stil weren't quite right. She would lift one hand, pressing it gently to Kain's face and holding it there as she leaned up to kiss him, having to stand on tiptoe in order to do so. Pulling away, Kairi would continue to gaze up at Kain, though she would wrap her arms around his waist, pulling him close. "I miss this, you know? I miss you. You've always been the one to help me feel okay again, but, now the roles are kind of reversed with how things have been... I'm just sorry that I can't help you more," Kairi would speak, smiling to start, but letting the smile transform into a distant look by the end.

She didn't want to let go when Kain pulled away, but, when she saw what he was picking up, Kairi grinned. She would hold out her hand, waiting for Kain to hand her the camera. "If you let me take the picture, then sure, we can make a memory for you before I go. I know you have troubles with the camera," Kairi would say, still smiling. "What sort of memory did you want to make, anyways? Just a simple picture of us?"

Kain Would walk behind Kairi and wrap his long arms around her curved waist, kneeling he sat his chin on his shoulder. "Just like this." he said with a smile hiding his fear of her leaving. This girl, she made him feel so comfortable when everyone else irritates him so much. He wiped a single tear on her shoulder before smiling for the picture.

"Alright you, you, have your goal go take it.." he would walk to the door looking at his feet, "I'll keep stopping you if I stay. I really have no other idea but love, so come back. I want to be better so come back and see if I am... Also I'm sorry for documenting the battle, books and documents just make me feel comfortable for some reason." He would say walking into the hall with tears in his eyes.

Why am i so broken and so torn? I can't find who I am. Who am I? Kain would question himself in his head. Kain knew he shouldn't scratch at the walls of his mind, he loses himself when he does. "Why are the voices gone, now just scratchy noise. Nothing in mind, graaaaahhhhh! Lost in mind I n- Need help. I need key to unlock self. R-RENO he is key!" Kain would stride the hallways still crying but now furthering his madness by pulling on his hair and tugging his clothes. "I need to find Reno".
PostPosted: Wed Jan 06, 2016 7:00 pm
Kairi would smile as well, snapping the picture with ease. She would pass the camera back to Kain. "Hold onto that, okay? It has some of our other pictures on it that we haven't gotten printed yet. I have our spare camera in my bag... so, I'll take pictures while I'm gone, just for you, okay?" she would say, a sad smile forming. She would place a hand on Kain's cheek again, kissing his other cheek gently. "I'll be back as soon as I can, okay? I'll have my SNAG if you need to message me at all. Reno should at least be able to help you with that if you have troubles. I... I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer any messages while I'm gone, but, message me anyways if you need to," she would say, her voice calm, soothing. "Don't worry about the battle... That's my problem, not yours." She would give Kain another kiss before finally letting him go, watching him retreat.

Closing the door behind her boyfriend, Kairi would lock it before returning to her packing. Looking back down to the box that Kain had passed to her before that had ended up on the floor again, Kairi would remove the picture of the two of them in front of Prism Tower, tucking it into her bag carefully, deciding that she would have to find a new frame for it while she was gone. However, not wanting to leave Kain without one of the memories he had collected, Kairi decided to give him something in return. Pulling the Latias feather from her hair, Kairi would place it delicately in the box before closing it back up. Done with everything else, Kairi would pull out some paper and a pen, taking a deep breath to prepare herself for what she needed to do next.

Sub sat in his office going over some files that just came in from Snag-A-Cup, namely their liaison in Kalos. The files however did not pertain to anything in Kalos, but rather they all contained information on Orre, the Kalos base only acting as a go between the Mt. Silver base and an informant in Orre. The Snagem leader seemed to be planning something.

Lykas sat on the couch in the main room, watching TV with Odd across from him. He had his Duskull and Pumpkaboo out at the moment.

Somewhere nearby, in the kitchen from the sound of it, Kaya was fiddling with food. Anyone entering would see him preparing a meal for his Flabébé and Goomy.

Still recovering from the adventure, if one wants to be liberal with their choice of words, that brought him to Snagem HQ, a bleary-eyed Morgan wanders into the kitchen idly scratching at his bandaged abdomen with one hand while stifling a yawn with the other.

Without even seeming to have noticed Kaya, the scruffy drifter begins to rifle through the nearest cabinet. That is, until the honedge hovering at his shoulder taps him with the flat of her blade. Freezing, Morgan's head slowly, sleepily turns to regard whatever it is he's being alerted too -- and then, after staring for slightly longer than might be necessary, reaches up to drowsily rub the sleep from his eyes in what may be the slowest double-take known to man.

The Klefki hybrid occupying the kitchen when Morgan entered didn't notice him right away, either. The Fairy specialist was busy attempting to pet his newest addition, the Goomy on the table, without getting covered in slime when he finally realized he was no longer the only human...ish inhabitant of the room.

Wiping the Goomy slime from his hand into a towel laying beside the aforementioned dragon slug, he waved politely, smiling brightly from beneath the helm/mask obscuring the upper half of his face. The blank, black eye lenses might be a bit off-putting but otherwise, he looked completely harmless. Barring the longsword sheathed on his back but that wasn't anything to worry about, really.

RC pats Rhyme on the head. "Tell me everything little one. You seem to have a lot on your mind and could use venting it away. But first, recall all your pokemon, it seems they need some time to cool off." the legendary hybrid would say.

One by one the pokemon are recalled. All but Joshua, who seems to have quieted down significantly after the outburst, and after a brief staredown with her he is complacent enough for her to grab the bag of the Jolteons and sit down at the table. "I don't have a pokeball for her...its a long story..." She says, settling Joshua on her lap as the pin needle pokemon settles at her feet. Once RC is seated and comfortable, she explains everything; whats happened after he's left, Thundurus, the mission she's on. Part of her thinks he'd understand, given how long he's lived in the HQ with the others.

Squinting ever-so-slightly, Morgan continues to watch the Klefki-Hybrid for a long moment. At the smile, he offers a faint one of his own. Finally, apparently having finished whatever assessment he was making, he offers a nod of his head by way of greeting before wordlessly returning to the task at hand. His Honedge, meanwhile, continues to float about at his back, the face like emblems on her crossguard directed primarily towards Kaya. Or, at the very least, towards Kaya and the sword sheathed across his back.

In short order, and with a surprising degree of speed given his apparent state of being half-asleep, the cupboard Morgan has chosen is emptied of several pots, pans, plates and utensils.
"Been a while since I had a proper stove to work with. Y'want something?" He drawls out nonchalantly, apparently to nobody in particular and without glancing over his shoulder, as he moves on to root about in the fridge.

A Scarecrow

Kaya seemed taken aback by the newcomer's voice after such an extended silence. "Who? Me?" He asked, slightly confused. "I was actually just considering eating..." He admitted after a moment. "But I haven't the slightest idea what I want." He continued, looking down to his Pokemon. Flabébé was enjoying a meal of Mago slices and he had to admit they looked rather enticing. "If you're offering, I'll be glad to help with whatever you decide to make."

As he moved away from the table, the blade on his back shifted slightly, exposing a very small amount of the blade. It was the color of cobalt. And was that a pink diamond inlaid in the blade.

RC would sit and listen, silently puffing away on his Kiseru. Once Rhyme finishes, RC would remain quiet, at least outwardly.

"So this is the girl you have taken under your wing? I see why you did. She is young and still has much to learn, but has done well so far. You must be proud of your student." Martha would muse.

" Proud, yes. But she is not a student to me." RC replies to his other inner half.

"Oh? What do you? oh! I am surprised, my fellow Grand Master. I didn't think such a familial bond was possible for you." Martha chides.

"The Old Sky God made me his vessel, yes, but he didn't take away all that made me human. I retained a few things, the biggest ones being my heart and emotions. I am not a cold monolith like most of the Gods are." RC responds with.

"I see. I apologize, Master RC. I have made some poor assumptions about you. I will take time to reflect on that. Now hurry and speak, or she may think your intentionally ignoring you." Martha says to her counterpart.

RC nods and takes a deep breath. "You have been through much, my little one. But I couldn't be prouder of you than I am right now. You have taken on a very challenging task and are progressing very nicely. It's good to hear you are giving that old grumpy lightning God more than he can handle. He needs to lighten up a bit. Now, as for your Jolteon here, I will need some time to think on what may be the best course of action to take. I will help you with this." RC says to Rhyme.

"Now, I am sure you must be curious as to what had me away for so long, little one?" RC then asks of Rhyme, awaiting her response, blowing a puff of smoke her way as well.

Kaya seemed taken aback by the newcomer's voice after such an extended silence. "Who? Me?" He asked, slightly confused. "I was actually just considering eating..." He admitted after a moment. "If you're offering, I'll be glad to help with whatever you decide to make."

As he moved away from the table, the blade on his back shifted slightly, exposing a very small amount of the blade. It was the color of cobalt. And was that a pink diamond inlaid in the blade.

Poking his head into the fridge itself to get a better look at things way in the back, Morgan calls back, his voice muffled, "Well, Hope doesn't eat. Or at least not normal things. She's a ghost." Then, stepping back from the fridge with a frown, "Too many options. One man was not meant to have this much power. Could just do pancakes...what time is it, anyways?"

Finally, puffing a sigh, he looks back to Kaya. "Morgan, by the way. Morgan Dulac. It's a pleasure."
Then, he amends to that, blandly, with a glance to the Honedge, Hope, as she continues to circle Kaya with her gaze apparently more intent on the sword than the Flabeb and Goomy. "Neat sword. Kinda reminds me of Unova for some reason."

OOC: Sorry for the late response times, I work weird hours during the weekend.

Kaya laughed lightly at Morgan's comments regarding the contents of the refrigerator. "I can sort of agree. It's a big part of why so many people eat too much. Too many options." He agreed, patting his rather flat stomach. "But I generally don't eat much regardless."

Looking to the Honedge now, he dug around in his bag for a moment and found something Odd had given him. It was something he'd been curious to try for a while but hadn't had the chance. It looked like a Pokeblock except that it was wrapped it what looked like a Cleanse Tag. It wasn't one but it looked similar. "I have a friend who's a Ghost-type specialist who gave me this. Said it was something he was trying to develop." He said as he unwrapped it, revealing a plain, white block of candy. While he couldn't see or feel it, the Honedge before him would likely sense the spiritual energy trapped within it. "He says it's a food for Ghost Pokemon that lets them eat naturally. Dunno exactly what that means, though..." He admitted, offering the candy to Hope.

"My name's Kaya. Kaya Rayvn." He introduced himself after a moment of silence, processing Morgan's introduction. The comment regarding the sword did get him talking further, though. "That's kind of funny. I've thought the same but I haven't the slightest idea where it came from before I got it. We claimed it with some personal spoils from the Kalos royal treasury when we helped depose the now ex-king a few years ago." He explained, now drawing the sword to let Morgan get a better look at it for a moment. Cobalt blue with a golden-white edge and several pink diamonds inlaid down the center of the blade. The crossguard wide and curvedback over his hand slightly with a longer-than-normal handle. Looked like it was roughly a hand and a half in length. "It's called Rise."

Through the whole exchange, his Pokemon largely ignored the goings on around them, choosing, instead, to eat.

Fully closing the refrigerator before leaning back against it, Morgan gingerly crosses his arms over his bandaged chest. He tilts his head to the side, ever so slightly, and examines the sword at a distance. Hope, at the same time, tilts through the air to briefly assess the weapon, the pokeblock temporarily forgotten. After a brief moment, the human rolls his shoulders back and clears his throat, and the honedge turns her attention back to the offered pokeblock. "Rise, huh? You name it that, or did it come with the title?" He asks, steely eyes flicking up from the weapon to meet Kaya's own. "Met a kid near Fallarbor once who used throwing knives -- kunai, I think he called them. Had a name for each one," he adds with a faint smirk and a hint of amusement, "When I asked how he could tell 'em apart he just kinda threw a smokebomb at me and booked it."

Hope, meanwhile, draws a tad bit closer to the offered Pokeblock, perhaps seeming a little skittish about it. Finally, she reaches out with the ribbon that hangs from her pommel and gingerly, gently, places it upon the offered candy. Perhaps a medium or channeler might have been able to see what happened next, but to an untrained human eye the block simply...faded. Slowly at first, and then as it became more and more transparent the disappearance hastened. Soon, after a mere several seconds, the Pokeblock was gone.
The candy thoroughly annihilated, Hope performed a small, wobbly dance in the air as she let out a cheerful metallic ring, the sound accompanied by an eerie echo.
