The idea is this: There is this guy who believe in bio-engineering. He creates "coordinators", super-human computers who are to "coordinate" the next step in evolution.
Well, most people hate mutants (it reminds me of Xmen), and begin to decide to attack the space colonies or something because they created them. So four of the five gundams are fighting for the colonies, who are going to raize the earth. The fifth pilot has a concious, and fights against the other four gundams.
Its kinda whack, I haven't seen them all, but its four seasons long so far. Really, its a really gay version of the thing, because it attempts to 1) bash the bush administration, and 2) attempts to mock the war in iraq by making both the earth and mars the bad guys, and nobody is a winner.
At least, that's the mindset you have to be in to like it.
