Ooh no, the zombies didn't kill anyone as far as I know. People killed people they thought made zombies who stole their jobs. whee But it is even more interesting to read about the aspects of an occult economy that are growing in Europe and the US, people do so many strange things..
Haha, thanks, but it's kind of things I need to do myself.. Like learning French and applying for visas and earn enough money to pay for the plane tickets. That was very nice of you though. whee heart
I'm not really trick or treating. I've done it once I think, but it is relatively new in Norway. Traditionally we just celebrate All Hallows Eve, which was this sunday, when the spirits, witches and trolls come out, and you need to do a number of rituals to keep them out of your house. But in involves very little candy and costumes, so sadly the tradition is disappearing.
Yeah, it's much more fun to receive candy than give it away.. xp

... Okay, that's SAD. Zombies don't steal jobs. Better people steal jobs from the not as good people. Geez. -_-
Oh, well, can't help ya there. Good luck, anyway!
Aw, man, that sounds more fun and far more safe. How come America makes these holidays so damned commercialized!? D:
Agreed!
Oh, yeah, not trying to stress you out or anything, but how's that painting going?

Mir: Rather, neoliberalism doesn't create enough jobs in areas like the old 'homeland' territory in South Africa, and so frustrated youth find cultural explanations for why they can't get jobs and their families are starving. But yeah, killing old people is still not a nice thing to do.
The painting is as good as done, probably just needs about 30 minutes more of work! So I will post it soon!
Thank you Rei. whee Realism is very useful in all other styles, not a bad idea to get some experience in it. smile
Welcome to the guild, Hesteknerten. And thanks! Nice name, are you scandinavian? smile

Orielle Hello! Sorry about disappearing from the guild. School and work ate up a lot of my time. Especially this course on African culture and politics I just started, most of my evening was spent studying the impact of zombie armies on the South Africa labour market, and the magical credit cards given out all over the continent by the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God. 3nodding heart I hope your papercut has healed by now Sui, it's not easy being a responsible citizen nowadays, is it..?

Oh, yeah, don't worry about the painting. Take your time with it. >_<;
Geez, how many languages do you know, Orielle? Seriously, that's at least two, if not three.

Holiday+laptop+tablet sounds nice, Sui! biggrin
School and work is not very enjoyable at the moment, a lot to do and veery little motivation. But I'll get through it, only 6 weeks more and I'm outta here. xp
I like the Gaia halloween though, lots of new cool items. I finished the factions thing, but now zOMG has opened for oldbies, and it is a black hole timewise. But very fun nevertheless! biggrin
Just two languages fluently, so it's not that impressive compared to people like Tervasulka.. But it looks like I'm supposed to speak perfect French by december, so we'll see. smile
I actually finished the Ylva+Ida painting yesterday, but when I tried to save photoshop crashed. It usually never does that, if I've got some kind of virus so that I can't paint anymore I think I'll cry. Does anyone know good virus programs for mac? Don't worry, I'll still finish it, it was only about 45 minutes that were lost. But I need to gather up the motivation to do the exact same things over again first. sad
I'm going to a concert tomorrow! Okervil River, American indierock I think.. Should be fun, a new friend that I don't know so well invited me. But I hate not knowing if it is supposed to be a date or not. gonk
