Raven finally caught up to Ino but this time she kept her distance.

"where r u going ino?"

Raven followed in the shadows, still using her sharigan, ready to defend/attack at any moment.

Naruto walked up to Gaara, smiling. He blinked at her before looking back at the person in the academy. Naruto just shrugged and said,

"I'll see you later then."

She waved goodbye and headed off. When she was out of sight, she frowned, and said,

"Raven is more fun than this place, I should have stayed with her."

i'll be the girl in my signature, so i'll be Reki Chidori Ryubi! blaugh (long name, yet cool)

Reki walked down the hall, toward the (girl) Naruto. "Hello..." she said as she passed, but she didn't stop walking when she passed Naruto.

Naruto stared after the weird girl for a few moments, thinking,

What the heck?

She shrugged and took off after her, wondering who she was. She's never seen her before, so she must be foreign or something.

Reki looked behind her if there was anyone, so she could jump in a tree and sit quietly, to watch people do this and that.

But there was Naruto, following a few yards away.

"I'm...screwed!" she thought. "If this girl sees me jump into a tree and stay there, wow, I'd be wierd."

Naruto sweatdropped a bit when she saw the weird girl jump into the tree. Why did she jump up there? She walked up to the tree, not even stopping as she walked up the trunk using chakra to stick to the tree.

"Ohayo gozamasu, my name is Naruto. What's yours?"

The girl curled her hair around her index finger.
"Hehe...well...you can call me Reki."

Naruto smiled, and stuck out her hand.

"Nice to meet you, Reki!"

Reki looked up in the sky. The sun was setting.

"I guess I need to go home or my mom will be mad." she said to Naruto.

She jumped down the tree.

"Want to join me for dinner?" she asked Naruto.

Naruto smiled and nodded,

"Sure! Lead the way Reki-chan!"

Naruto moved to the side to let Reki pass.

"Ok!" Reki smiled back at Naruto.

Both girls walked for a few minutes while they talked about the village, until they came to an apartment.

"My apartment is one of these. C'mon!" Reki said, tugging at Naruto's sleeve.

Naruto smiled, and let herself be pulled into the apartment by her new friend. Once they got to her apartment, Naruto took off her shoes at the door and began to look around.

"Wow, this place is better than mine, heh."

Naruto remarked, smiling.

"Thanks,"Reki blushed. "I consider it small."

She glanced around the apartment lighted with light from the sunset. "Mom...? she called uneasily.

The lump in her throat felt bigger and bigger as she looked around more closely.

Naruto's smile dropped from her face as she recognized the signs of worry etched on Reki's face.

"Reki-chan?"

Naruto asked uncertainly, spreading out her senses for anything out of place. She didn't feel anyone else in the apartment, so why was Reki worried?
