Sasuke shrugged, "You're my sister...I care about you. I'm not going to leave you to die on your own, especially in this state. And besides, if I have you with me, I'll have more chances on killing Itachi, especially if you can help me train." he heard the amazement in her voice...but he sighed and shrugged it off.

Nikura got off the bed carefully to be sure she could stand ok and held onto the side of the bed to keep her balance. "Why do you care so much about me? I mean....I did hurt you...even though I never wanted to that's not the point..I did...so why do you care?"

Sasuke looked down at the ground, "I'm not entirely sure...My head tells me to leave you to die, but my heart says to stay with you, and make sure you remain safe." He walked to her side in case she needed help walking and sighed, "I'm not sure if you do, but I remember the good times we had...long ago."

Nikura thought back to the times when they used to play in their back yard...all three of them, itachi would pick the both up and carry them around the yard. "I do remember those days...all too well..but they have passed and there is no sign of return. Brother I'm sorry for doing it..I'm quite sure still why I did those things..but now that I did I cannot take them back..I wish I could...but all I can say is I'm sorry. She hung her head and a few tears fell for the first time.

Sasuke's hand seemed to move on its own as it rested onto his sister's shoulder. His eyes widened in shock at the movement...the memory she had described had triggered something within him...as well as the tears that fell to the floor.
"It's...it's okay." He murmured, his shoulders relaxing as he gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze, "Don't worry about it...that too is in the past..no matter how tragic it was."
He watched as the tears fell and he sighed softly, "How about we leave this place and get some Ramen? I'm sure you're hungry after this ordeal."

Nikura shook the tears away she had never cried before and didn't intend to now. She stoped and looked at Sasuke. "I am kinda hungry..but I have no money for ramen..or anything."Itachi never took her out to eat and never gave her money to just spend.

Sasuke reached in his satchel and pulled out a small dragon-shaped pouch before drawing out some money. "Here, I have plenty." He handed her some and led the way out of the hospital room, "I earned it from minor missions I complete in my spare time. You can use that to spend on whatever you want. I'll pay for the ramen."

Nikura looked at the money before taking it slowly. "T-thanks, wow, i have never had money to spend before. She put the money in her pocket and looked up at him greatful and followed him out of the hospital.

As they walked around, Sasuke kept his Sharingan activated. Though he was weary from staying up the past two nights, he still wanted to be alert in case Itachi pulled anything.
"Keep close to me at all times, Nikura." He murmured softly, "If you see a store you want to stop at before we reach the Ramen shop, tell me and I'll go with."

Nikura kept up his speed and walked next to him. She watched everything that happened around her..she was used to this. The finally got to the ramen shop and she followed him inside and sat next to him.

Sasuke waited for the chef to turn to them and he ordered two specials. He was feeling a bit hungry himself.
"So...what was Itachi planning...I figured since you won't be around him anymore, it's safe for you to tell me."

Nikura thought about the plans she had seen. "Well I know he was going to beat me for helping you..that is a given..he beat me for everything i did wrong......but he was planning...to capture...Naruto. I know he wants Naruto's demon...but we cannot let him have it..We have to save Naruto..."

Sasuke looked out of the Ramen shop into the street, "Great...and Naruto probably doesn't have a clue that they're after him. Well...we better find him after we're done eating...Though the kid drives me nuts, it wouldn't be good for the Akatsuki to get thier hands on him."

Nikura got very serious and continued as their ramen arrived. "Yes Brother, we do..because they'll kill him...." She started eating slowly.

Sasuke tensed up as she said that. His eyes turned slowly to her and he murmured, "They want to kill him? Why? Don't they want that...spirit thing that's inside of him?"
