Too blind to see?[full to the brim& open]

Cole laughed and sat down on the bed beside her. "I try." He grinned and kissed her again, moving the teddybear out of the way.

Mandy chuckled lightly. She kissed him back with a smile. [brain issues]

Cole grinned. "So when will you be able to see hun?" He asked, gently wrapping and arm around her shoulders

"um THe doc said two hours after my surgery. That would be any minite soooo..a few hours I suppose" she smiled half-heartedly. She was scared sensless. The doctor walked "are we ready?"

Cole smiled and gave her a gentle kiss. "You'll be fine hun. Everything'll go perfectly." He nodded, hugging her then kissing her again. "I'll see you soon." He chuckled

She took a deep breath and nodded.

After 2 1/2 hours of surgery Mandi layed in bed with badages over her eyes. Anna at her side holdin her hand.

Cole gripped her hand comfortingly. "See. Not so bad huh?" He grinned and stroked her hair. "Soon you'll be able to see everything." He said excitedly.

Mandi chuckled lightly despite the stupid bandages on her eyes. "Yeah..I can't see quite yet" she joked.

After a while the Doctor came in. "Mandi?" "yes?" he shut the window,dimming the lights down. "alright I'm gonna take them off..." he reached down and started working on the bandages.

Cole stood out of the way for the doctor, but hovered close to Mandy, not letting her out of his sight. He could feel his excitement bubbling. He took a deep breath and waited patiently.

The doctor helped her sit up. He removed the bandages and put his hands softly under her eyes. "Slowley open your eyes." Mandy did as he said,opening her sky blue eyes...she gasped

Cole moved a bit closer, a bit nervous when she gasped. "What is it?" He asked anxiously. "Are you alright?" He stepped over beside her taking her hand in his.

Her voice was shaking "I can see my hands..she looked at his hand.She was so cuaght up. He smiled "Just take it easy,don't strain yourself"

Cole could feel tears coming to his eyes. He hastily wiped them away. "Yeah Mandy... Just take it easy... It's going to take some getting used to. But we're here for you." He said softly, stroking her hair with his other hand.

SHe couldn't speak. The doctor watched from a distance. She slowly looked up his arm to his face and made eye contact. "Cole..." she whispereing.Her sky blew eyes started watering.

"Aww Mandy, don't cry." Cole whispered, starting to cry a bit himself. He smiled at her brightly, his eyes watering. He softly hugged her and then sat on the edge of her bed, watching her.
