Leon ignored Emilia's protests as he guided Alexandria, her reigns now tied around the saddle horn in front of the werewolf, "whether Louis cares about you personally or not doesn't change the fact that you are a member of the Unit. You're not exactly expendable."

He adjusted his grip and switched the reigns to be held in both of his hands, having his arms be to either side of the woman. Despite her attempting to sit as forward as possible her body occasionally bumped against his and he groaned under his breath. He would have to find a hooker or something similar once he was finished delivering the two others.

Emilia smirked at his comment.
"We all are..." she growled in a low ton.

Between both the man's arms on each side of her, his torso against her back and the reins in front of her, Emilia had a strange feeling of being trapped. In addition, it was barely midday and she was feeling as weak as ever, her hand reminded her now and then that she was no match for the tall man behind her.

From so closed, even in human form, she could smell his scent, a mix of sweat, earth and male which was quite...enticing to say the least. She heard his groan and noticed that she could feel his breath on her neck. Her pupils dilated in both anger and desire.

A rock gave trouble to the horse, leading it to make a side move which projected Emilia fully against Leon. The woman gulped.

"I will remain loyal to you even if the Unit was dismantled," Kageko replied, stopping right beside Louis, "but may I know why you ask me this question."  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles glanced over at the two on the horse and her eyes narrowed slightly.

Leon grunted at the impact and one arm wrapped around the woman to keep her from falling off the horse. He groaned again as his body temperature began to rise and he released Emily, reaching into the bag behind him and pulled out a blanket, stuffing it between the two of them.

"Typical of people with a heartbeat," murmured Angeles as she saw the blood rushing to the faces of both of the riders of the bay horse.

"Don't get any ideas," he growled to Emilia, pushing her a bit forward against the horn and scooting himself back, "Louis would skin me alive i fI had my way with you."

Emilia felt his arm preventing her fall, yet she could not help but have her heart skip a beat.

She was grateful for the blanket between them although now she was uncomfortably pressed against the horn. She swallowed and frowned at her own physical reactions.

A smirk came to her lips and she turned her head a little looking at him with her blue eye which was mirroring his.
"I'd rather be walking or ridding on Angeles's horse." she hissed at him.
She turned back to hear him speaking about Louis.
"I think I am old enough to make that kind of decision." she answered grumpy.

The rest of the trip was calmer, although the werewolf was reckless.
Soon the city was in sight and strangely enough Emilia's aura darkened.

"Where did Louis ask you to meet him?" she asked Leon, but shouting a look at Angeles.

Louis started back walking as soon as she had voice her allegiance to him.
"King Christopher asked the Unit to meet up with him." he answered quietly but did not elaborate.
Since the creation of the Unit, the triumvir had dealt directly with him, the Leader and never with the members of the Unit, except for unique missions requiring the skills of one or the other.
That meeting asked by the King was making Louis uneasy.

Kageko coul see nothing wrong with the meeting other than the fact that King Christopher was the human king and that the bomb during the funeral could have very well been caused by a human. "What do you suspect the king will ask?" Kageko asked simply, "And why would you need my skills?".  

[Angeles Valentine]

"Does it matter?" asked Leon, feeling himself calm down, "what would you do if I told you? We're getting there one way or another," the bay horse dipped his head then turned to sniff at Alexandria who pulled her ears back and snorted at him in warning. He took his head away from her and left her lone.

Leon's eyes darted around the city, otherwise ignoring Emilia's other comments and whatnot and leading his horse calmly down the street.

Emilia suddenly felt a chill down her spin at the ranger's words.
Something was off. What was the problem with telling them where they were heading?

She felt as trapped as the vampire on Alexandria.
She might regret that later but for the moment she thought better safe than sorry.

Her left elbow quickly hit Leon in the chin while her right hand quickly untied Alexandria's reins from the horn.
"Run Angeles! Run Alexandria!" she shouted at the vampire and her horse.

She got herself ready to hit Leon again with now both her elbows...

Louis and Kageko were now in the outskirts of the city.
He turned to Kageko. "You speak too much." he said and came to a stop, looking ahead with an emotionless face.

Kageko simply shrugged and came to a stop just as the vampire did.

Leon grunted in pain at the sharp impact to his face and he bent backwards before leaning forward, trying to snatch the reigns as the white horse galloped away. He growled and grabbed Emilia's arms and held them to her sides before she could hit him again.

"What on Darth are you thinking!?" he snarled before swiftly tieing her arms with a soft rope from his bag and then kicked his horse into a gallop after Angeles' horse.

The vampire leaned down close to the white fur of her horse, keeping her eyes ahead. The city, though the capital, was rather small, at full speed she could charge through it within a few minutes. A noise behind her forced her to glance back and the approaching horse and Leon.

Angeles growled and winced as she grabbed her reigns, just running was not going to be enough, it was time for some agile dodging. with a click of her tongue and a flick of her wrists Alexandria turned and jumped over a vendor cart and down another road. The jar from the landing forcing Angeles to tightly close her eyes.

Emilia looked straight in the eyes of the man.
"If you don't trust me, how can I trust you..." she hissed.
She tried to wiggle but the rope was tightly tied around her wrists.
"Let her go..." she barked trying to slow down Leon and his horse by pushing against him with her shoulder.

In a last attempt, she pushed all her weight against him and titled down the horse. With her hands tied she was unable to cushion her fall and she hit the ground heavily. She heard the horse gallop away. For the second time of her day she fell from a horse...or rather she jumped down.

She rolled and sat up heavily, waiting for the cloud of dust to disperse and know if Leon was still on his horse or not.

Louis's eyes narrowed.
"Can you feel Emilia around?" he asked as he guessed that Kageko had never met neither Leon, neither Angeles.

Kageko nodded and pointed towards a vendor, "She's very close to where we are. In that direction." The girl didn't say anything more. From the sounds of it, Louis would prefer her to say as little as possible and so she did just that.

Leon grunted and fell off his horse, but quick reflexes saved him. As Emilia fell to the ground he reached out and grabbed the horn of the saddle, running alongside his horse before jumping back into the stirrups and glancing behind him at Emilia on the ground before turning and urging his horse to go faster, turning down the same street that Alexandria had turned down.

Angeles looked back. Leon had lost distance but was picking up speed. With subtle movements of her wrist and feet Alexandria began to swerve left and right before suddenly making a right turn, her hooves against the street echoing loudly, warning anyone in front of her to get out of the way quickly.

Emilia coughed from the dust. Her cheekbone was bleeding. She stood up slowly, her side was now truly painful. What she had guessed was a minor crack was now a broken rib.
She straightened up wincing, her hands still tied in her back.

She slowly started walking in the direction where she had seen both horses disappear.

Louis pointed at a white horse arriving their way.
"We need to stop her by all means." Yet Louis was unable to do much but take his sword out of his sheath with a sigh.
With his current strength he could not do much but if Alexandria hit him full force, the blade would damage her front legs.

"Angeles STOP!" he roared at the incoming vampire.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles' eyes widened and she jerked back on the reigns, resulting in pain in her shoulder. She released the reigns and gripped the wound. Regardless Alexandria stopped, her sides heaving and her head lowered as Angeles' eyes opened and glared at Louis through the top of her eyes. With a free hand she pulled the reigns back.

Alexandria nickered and began to walk backwards away from the pair, just as Leon arrived and turned his horse sideways to block Alexandria's retreat.

"Hello Louis," Leon said with a sigh and gestured at Angeles, "you and her are on the same level of pride, it will get you both killed one day."

Angeles glowered over her shoulder and tightened her grip on the reigns. The leather creaking under ther pressure.
