Hypno would get hit and while it took damage it didn't seem to be bothered too much as it remained still. Wait, something wasn't right. To Tsuki the Hypno would begin to distort and fade away, quickly replaced by horrific images. It seems the Hypnosis had set in and now Hypno inflicted Tsuki with a Nightmare. Sabrina also remained still and said nothing. However, she also acted as she used her own Psychic abilities to force Reno to experience Tsuki's Nightmare, a spectator to its agony.

Tsuki's response was to scream in fear, flailing arms as she began to scramble for an exit, her Razor Claw dropping to the floor in the sudden flurry of motion. The Sneasal would look to the object before grabbing it close, the groggy motions creating a stumble that sent Tsuki head first into the ground. Reno, bearing witness to this all, would change his charge to where Tsuki was. Grabbing her and rolling away from the location, Reno decided that now would be a time to take advantage of the inadvertent connection Sabrina was supplying. Pumping the energy enhancing his senses through to Tsuki, the red haired Psychic watched as she began to convulse before the energy converted into the correct polarity, snapping Tsuki awake and making her glow from the power that was now coursing through her. The Razor Claw would also glow before it settled with the rest of Tsuki, allowing her a chance to finally launch another attack. A haphazardly launched Dark Pulse that was more the release of the pent up energy through a new outlet than a directed, malicious attack.
Looking to his new Weavile as it exploded with dark energy, Reno hoped the moment would allow him to rush forward when Sabrina's psychic powers might not reach him, hoping to draw close and start this duel of Psychics on grounds he was more comfortable with.

Hypno was taken back by the sudden explosion of Dark Pulse, and harmed considerably. However, it was not going to give up that easily and neither was its trainer. Hypno would hold its pendulum in its right hand, clap its two hands together, and then form a square with its fingers as the pendulum hung in the center of the gesture. A cube of energy would quickly begin to expand outward from its hands until it consumed the entire room. Everyone inside would find that their natural movement speed was reversed. If you could normally move quickly, you now moved slow and vice verse. It was Trick Room.

Tsuki would slam into the expanding wall of psychic energy, the Weavile slowing to a crawl as she was bringing her claws forward, prepared to slice into the Hypno with a Metal Claw. The Hypno would have a good open opportunity to launch an attack at this point, although the Weavile would still likely attempt to claw through to its target.
Reno would face a similar situation of his rush being slowed to a crawl while he saw Tsuki end up much slower than even he had been going. Quickly realizing how he might get around the Trick Room for the moment, the gym challenger shifted into a slow walk towards Sabrina. Raising his right hand and slowly bringing it towards Sabrina's arm, Reno would attempt to poke her arm and see if the reversal of motion worked for this type of movement.

Sabrina would disappear before Reno's eyes, teleporting several feet away from where she once was. "Attacking the trainer?" She said in her normal cold tone. Hypno, obviously, had plenty of time to attack the Weavile with a most devastating move, Focus Blast. The Psychic type would point its free hand outward, palm first, and conjuring a ball of brown energy. The ball was small and easy to avoid, but powerful, and Weavile was easy pickings.

Reno would look to the now teleported Sabrina, smiling sheepishly before finally speaking up. "Look, my Psychic ability only really works if I'm actually in a fight or trying to locate somethin'. Passively standin' around and usin' the energy like that isn't how I work." Reno explained, stalking after Sabrina again to take this duel of Psychics back into a field he could control.
With Tsuki, the oncoming Focus Blast was intercepted without fail and sent the Weavile flying away into the wall of the room. Upon impact, an odd effect occurred that made the Weavile fade from view. Her reappearance in a burst of shadowy static, crouched at the Hypno's feet, groaning in pain, would be followed by a dark claw slashing upward, the Feint Attack. This would hopefully take down the Hypno before another blast could wipe Weavile into an even more desperate state or worse.

"I see." Sabrina simply said as she then raised her hand and unleashed a powerful wave of Psychic energy which defied the physics of the Trick Room, that is it traveled very quickly. Hypno was shocked that Weavile could withstand a Fighting move, and during its shock it was struck down by the Feint Attack, the Psychic type falling over.
Without a hint of emotion Sabrina recalled Hypno, using her telekinesis to lift its ball. She would then toss another out with her powers, releasing a Mr. Mime. The mime would prove to be insanely quick in this Trick Room as it rapidly shifted its hands around and unleashed a flickering pink light that would harm those who saw it, it was Dazzling Gleam.

Tsuki would simply collapse upon seeing the burning glare of the light, a silent scream across her face as she stared into the sky. Reno would have returned the Weavile at that moment, if his focus hadn't been required on keeping track of the Psychic blast. Allowing Serene Senses to guide his movements, tempering them with the knowledge that the slower he moved the faster he went, Reno slowly collapsed onto the floor into a chinese split, the Psychic blast slamming into his nose and sending his head snapping back further. Using the recoil from the impact, Reno allowed the momentum moving his head slowly to give him a chance to send himself sliding forward and allowing the trick room to take the slow movement and make it crazy fast. Pulling out a Pokeball as he flew knees first towards Sabrina, Nova now began to flap in front of the Mr. Mime, angrily letting out a shrill shriek as she appeared, hoping to get the Bug Buzz off without any impediment.

Sabrina would have foreseen Reno's sudden attack and disappeared in a flash. Did she teleport? Regardless she could not be seen for right now, wherever she went. In the mean time Mr.Mime just stared at Nova, the Bug Buzz bothering it not in the least, as if it didn't hear it. Unfortunately for Nova and Reno the Mr. Mime knew to use this moment of weakness to its advantage or rather its owner did.
The telepathic fairy would point a finger at the Volcarona like a gun and 'shoot' a beam of blue energy at the bug. Once the energy hit its target both Pokemon would give off a glow. Mr. Mime red, and Nova blue. Their auras of color would suddenly change though, Nova getting the red and Mr. Mime the blue. Once the colors swapped the glow would fade away and everything seemed to return to normal. What happened?

Calmly swinging his legs in front to slam into the wall, Reno bent down to absorb the energy he had from the slide before slowly rising to his feet again. Having watched the strange aura switch occur after the Mr. Mime had taken absolutely no damage or even noticed the Bug Buzz, he had some idea of what might have happened. Deciding now might be a good opportunity for some creativity, Reno roared out with, "Nova, Whirlwind!!" Watching the Volcarona kicking up the sweeping wind, her trainer decided now would be a smart idea to rush towards the Mr. Mime and aim a diving kick at the Pokemon once it was off balance from the relentless wind.

The Mr. Mime was baffled that the trainer got involved in the battle, that never happened. Either way the sudden attack from Reno threw it off guard and caused it to get knocked off its feet and carried away into the wind, the poor mime slamming into a wall and getting knocked unconscious. The Pokemon wasn't fainted, just temporarily suspended it seemed.
"Interesting." Sabrina said as she was now standing where she was before, just like that, out of nowhere. "I guess I'll let it take a time out and use another. Espeon." With that said a Luxury Ball floated over onto the field and popped open, releasing from within a beautiful Espeon whose's fur seemed to glow as light bounced off the sleek coat. Like usual, Sabrina didn't have to speak her commands to her Pokemon, they did it all telepathically.
"Peon!" The Pokemon cried. The Trick Room was still active for the time being and as such Espeon wasn't too fast. Instead it did the next best thing, nothing. The Espeon sat there and closed its eyes, focusing as its gem gave off a faint glow. And that's all it did until something forced it to act otherwise.

Looking to the Espeon before motioning to Nova with his fingers looking like fangs near his teeth, Nova took the odd motion as some sort of an idea. Blinking a few times before looking to the Espeon, she spat out a small needle at the Psychic type and felt a link form between her and the needle. And when it made contact, it would give her the energy that the Espeon lost. The beauty of Leech Life at work, even if it was likely weakened.
Looking to Sabrina, Reno once again pushed himself slowly along the floor, flying feet first at his opponent in an effort to keep her from focusing too intensely on the battle.

The Espeon grunted in pain, slightly broken from its focus as it opened one eye to glare at the bug. While the attack was super effective it wasn't too powerful, not just because of its relative weak nature but also because Volcarona has the physical and special strength of Mr. Mime, which wasn't very much. Volcarona could notice it was weaker than usual.
Sabrina didn't react to Reno's sudden attack, she simple held a hand up and caught Reno in midair telepathically. "You may have tapped into your own latent psychic powers, but you are still vulnerable to my own. I can read your mind. And that which can not be read can be predicted. Your aura is far too weak to protect you from me." Sabrina said in her cold tone, almost mockingly. She would then toss Reno back at Volcarona, if he wanted to play dirty then so will she.
Espeon would remain physically still, it had too otherwise it would get caught in slow motion thanks to the still active Trick Room. So instead it attacked from a far, staring at Volcarona and Reno as it attempted to catch them both in its Psychic blast.

Looking to the flying blast of Psychic energy, Reno sighed in midair before looking to Nova and nodding. Giving a flap of her wings, Nova sent a gust to adjust Reno's flight to intercept the blast. Tucking into a ball before impact, he was slammed by the concussive power of the energy and found himself planted into one of the walls of the room. "Just because I haven't been trainin' on my mental powers so much, doesn't mean that I'm just gonna roll over and let you kick me across your Gym." The threatening growl echoed out from the new crater he occupied before removing himself from the wall. Standing up with a defiant glare, the red head flashed his eyes over to Nova. "Let's get dangerous. No amount of power decrease is gonna stop me. Fiery Dance." Tapping his foot as the final words echoed out, Reno pointed to the Espeon before beginning his slow walk towards Sabrina.
Nova allowed her wings to build up flames, the intensity of the flames varying as the attack attempted to reset to normal power. Growling as she was forced to deal with the weaker flames, she gave an almighty flapping of her wings and sent a fire storm surging towards the Espeon. But rather than slam into the Pokemon and burst into almighty flame, it instead surrounded the Espeon as the Fire Spin began to roast and trap the Pokemon. "You're in my mind, are ya? Maybe ya wanna see this." Reno uttered, controlling his thoughts to focus on his last fight against Takashi, the tactics he had chosen and the thoughts he had racing through his head throughout the battle in an effort to confuse Sabrina between reality and his memory.

Espeon winced as the flames wrapped around her, the searing heat singeing her fur. Despite this though the Espeon remained calm, it hurt but it wasn't as bad as it could have been. "Your thoughts are trivial at best." Sabrina commented. "Takashi was weak and allowed his emotions to control him. I am neither of those things. You attempted to destroy your past in a fit of arrogance, however it still lingers in the depths of your mind. That feeling of servitude...yes, it suits you well. An underling. Seems you can't even keep your friends safe. Leslie...Kairi..." Sabrina said with that stone cold expression.
Espeon remained in the flames and began to give off a faint glow as it attempted to convert the heat from the flames into energy to heal its self with Morning Sun. Reno might find himself unwillingly reliving painful memories, some of which he might had never wanted to relive, but he was, and there were very vivid. In the mean time while the memories were coming to the forefront of his mind a beam of energy would crash down on Nova from seemingly nowhere. It was Future Sight.
