The male paused, obviously not used to being asked such questions. Most didn't bother asking if he'd like to join them on an outing, since they often assumed he'd always be busy caring for Jewel and Jerome. And although this was mostly true, the two were old enough to care for themselves, at least for an hour or so. "I'd love that! As long as I'm not being a burden..?" Jaquinne continued signing, still speaking out loud, however. He truly did not want to burden either of his new companions, however it would really make his day if he were able to accompany them.

Patrick was pleased to have convinced his friend to head on over to the bowling alley first. Sounded to him that the man needed reassurance that he is welcomed to join them and not be a burden. Didn't know anything about the guy other than he knows a few languages and seems to entertain his friend easily. "No, not at all. You're a welcomed patron of this group. No way could you be a burden to us, Jaquinne" he reassures him. He starts heading for Bob's bowling alley, "Now let's get going before the good smelling, and our size shoes get taken up" he playfully urges them as he remembers you swap your footwear for bowling shoes for this sport. He does carry a pair of socks in one of his jacket pockets because usually he doesn't wear any while wearing his shoes. [exit] ╚══════════════╝

Jaquinne smiled, glad of the reassurance he received from Patrick. He had the feeling that he may be able to become friends with these two strangers. With a satisfied chuckle, the blonde followed the duo, often glancing at the two of them as he walked.

Katelyn smiled as she was now able to spend some time with her friend and possible new friend! Looking at Patrick, the young brunette then quickly started following him. Practically having to job to keep up with his pace, but she was okay with that. After all, she didn't want to get left behind!

Katelyn had already been on her way out of the house when she got an alert on her phone. Looking at it, she smiled as she read the email from Patrick.
To: Patrick Okay. I'll see you there!
Hitting send, the young brunette put her phone back in her pocket as she walked, shivering a bit. Ugh, she really hated the cold! Shaking her head a little bit, she started walking only to yelp as she slipped and fell. Huffing loudly and rubbing her bottom as she got up, she continued on her way. She thought islands were supposed to have beautiful tropical weather! Not cold and snow! Grumbling a bit to herself, she kept on her way. By the time she reached downtown, her butt was rather sore from having slipped and fell a couple more times. After adjusting her hat and scarf, the young woman leaned agaisnt one of the buildings and pushed her hands into her pockets to keep them warm as she waited.
Patrick didn't jog his way to downtown this time because of the icy ground. Doesn't take long for him to spot Katelyn leaning against a building the same way he did yesterday. "Hey Kate!" he greets his friend. "Hope you weren't waiting too long. Tried to contact Jaquinne, but as far as I know he didn't respond back" he tells her. "What would you want us to do? Go to the candy store or try to wait for him?" he asked her because the weather seemed to be affecting her the most. He didn't want her to have to wait for Jaquinne if she didn't want to, but he does hope the guy is doing okay. ╚══════════════╝

Jaquinne sighed, peering down at the broken pile of equipment in his hand. Sometime last night, after his outing with Patrick and Katelyn, he had put all of his important electronic devices into his bag and an unfortunate accident occurred. His Ipod, phone, Ipad and even his USB, were all broken. After setting the bag down, he had turned to retrieve Jewel from the back of his bike, and a black Porsche came out of nowhere and crushed his bags, demolishing the contents inside. Most of his belongings could be repaired, but not his phone. By chance he had just finished visiting a friend who was prepared to fix the electronics, all but his phone, that is. As he stepped onto the street, the unfortunate Jaquinne spotted his companions, hesitantly moving over to them.

Katelyn's teeth chattered as she looked around. Where was Patrick? It was getting really cold! Maybe she should head to one of the buildings while she waited. Just before she could step forward, her friend approached her. Looking up at him, she then shook her head. "Not long, it's just really cold out." She signed to him before she could sign that they should go warm up while they wait, the blonde in question appeared. Looking up at him, Katelyn smiled a bit before signing to both men. "Lets head to the candy store my hands are frozen." She signed, shivering a bit and turning to head to the candy store, though the quick movement caused her feet slipped under her and she let out a yelp before steadying herself. She then made a pained face as she brought her hand to her throat. Even making such a simple sound made her throat feel like someone just stabbed her with a knife.

Patrick was doubtful about her response of her not waiting long for him, but he doesn't question it. He believed in his friend's decision to go inside the candy store from the shivering he was seeing. Looking in the same direction as Kate, he spots Jaquinne coming towards them. "Doing okay, Jaquinne?" he asked the older male before hearing a yelp near him. Moves right away to pick her without even thinking it over first after she had caught her balance. "Sorry, didn't want my friend slipping anymore than you may already have" he apologizes and started walking towards the candy. She could get down if she wants to since he doesn't have a tight grip on her arm and leg. ╚══════════════╝

The blonde smiled at his new companions, nodding in response to Patrick's question. He thought about mentioning his broken electronics but decided to save that story for the Candy store. He did not want Katelyn to suffer the cold for too much longer. When the other male picked up the petite girl, Jaquinne's eyes widened and he winked up at her, unable to hep himself as a mischievous expression briefly crossed his features. A part of him hoped she would be okay until they reached the store, even he had felt the chill of the day.

Katelyn's eyes widened as she suddenly felt her feet come off the ground. What the!? Blinking, she then looked over at Patrick, a dark blush forming on her face. Well... being picked up was certainly unexpected. Blushing a little bit more, she then smiled at him. While she felt pretty embarrassed about this, she felt it would probably be smart to let him carry her... since she had fallen over nearly ten times just walking here. Giving a defeated sigh, she shyly looked down at her hands.
Patrick accepts the nod to his concern question from Jaquinne. He thought he caught a mischievous looking expression from Jaquinne's face for a second there. He had expected the blushing from Kate, but it was surprising to him that she didn't struggle. He kept walking towards the store then stops once they were at the entrance. After setting his friend back on her feet. Opening the door next he let Kate and Jaquinne go in before going inside the candy store himself. [exit] ╚══════════════╝
