Thankfully, there was not much people by the time Solaris entered the store. She went on with the usual routine mechanically, buying the frozen pizza for today's late lunch, as well as the stocking up on a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables for snacks as well as dinner. She did need a few cartons of chocolate milk, so she picked up two from the frozen aisle section. The burger patties would work well with bread as a sandwich, so she fetched up a pack of the patties as well as the loaf of bread and even a bottle of ketchup together with a few small bottles of spices. A few boxes of cake mix were also part of her mental list, in case she would be baking something easy, so they were included in the basket.
As for the bathroom, she bought a bottle of shampoo and body wash, coupled with another bottle of toothpaste since she was almost running out of the stuff. Knowing that she had enough of what to buy, she approached the cashier who scanned for the items, granting her the total of $75.25 for her to pay. She gave the cashier the exact amount before picking up her bags and leaving the store for good, knowing that she had to go back home and eat up to sustain herself.

It was still pretty cold for her tastes, but at least she was able to get some sun. She walked around the isles thinking about what she'd like to bake next. Since she'd recently moved in, maybe she'd participate in the ritual of bribing friendship out of ones neighbors with food!."So," She thought to herself, " I should make something that could be shared." Maybe you could make some cookies? "Oh! Great Idea Henry!" He always had the good ideas. Shiloh went around and picked up the items to make cookies.
As she was making her way to the register, She spotted the fruits. Shiloh decided to browse since it had been awhile since she'd last had some fruit to snack on, and she could use the energy this time of year. (continues to browse)

After having such a bizarre morning, Lola decided the best way to counteract it was to go check out the downtown area. She didn't get to see much of it when she was moving in, so now was her chance. It was surprisingly fun to take in all the sights and see what kinds of stores were around. She took some mental notes of certain places she would hopefully like to work at. After all, she enjoyed the busy atmosphere of a job. Mostly. As long as she got to meet tons of people. No, more like especially. It just wasn't fun if she wasn't able to chat up customers and whatnot.
The green-haired woman was so caught up in her thoughts that she almost missed the door of the grocery store. It was the light ding of a bell from someone leaving that pulled her from her thoughts. Glancing into the building, she decided it would probably be a good idea to grab some water and a snack. Her late breakfast...--lunch, brunch...?--whatever it was, it didn't give her all the energy back that she had supposedly spent the previous night. "What did I do?" She whispered to herself again as she walked through the door. Her green eyes were immediately drawn to the vegetables and the fruits and her mouth watered.
Lola made a beeline for them as she contemplated on what she should get. If she got a vegetable and snacked on it while she was walking around she figured people would stare at her funny. Why did people think it weird to see someone eating a full head of lettuce? For some reason fruits garnered less looks, so sadly she had to turn down vegetables. She quickly turned to the fruits and only then did she notice another person nearby, facing away from her. Her green eyes lit up at the prospect of a new person to talk to. It was a woman, and the more she looked she could see she was in a nice outfit, had pretty green hair almost like her own, and so far what she could see of her face was oh-so-cute! SO, so cute! And-- "You have a flower in your eye!" She exclaimed out loud in wonder as she finally caught a glimpse of her entire face.
After realizing it was probably not a good thing to shout, she slapped a hand over her mouth, her expression sheepish. Peeling her hand away slightly, she spoke up softly, "Umm, sorry... Was that rude of me to say?" She shifted nervously on her feet as her tail barely peeked out from the bottom of her dress(since it was too sore to bind up, much to the dismay of the huldra). Her eyes drifted back up to the other girl's, taking in her features in awe. "I haven't ever seen something like that before so I was a little surprised. It's really pretty though!" Two things about her were.
And even though the flower was odd, Lola didn't seem too phased by it. Instead she took the initiative and thrust out the hand she had only moments before had around her mouth for a handshake. "My name is Lola by the way. It's nice to meet you. Sorry again for yelling about your eye."

She looked behind her and to see the girl who had shouted slap her hand over her mouth. Shiloh giggled, most people tended to just ignore the roses. The girl apologized and seemed a bit shy. "Don't worry about it!" Henry was sputtering gibberish at her compliment. He was always a bit shy. When their eyes made contact Shiloh sensed it. Another nature child huh? She put the orange back and took the girl's hand withe her free one. Shiloh smiled and said "Hi there Lola, I'm Shiloh and.." letting go of her hand she pointed to the roses, "this is Henry. It's nice to meet you! It's alright, I know he stands out a bit. But what can you do." She looked Lola up and down, not only was she adorably shy, but she was also very pretty. " I like your dress, it looks good on you."

Lola watched as the woman jolted from her sudden outburst, almost juggling an orange as she tried to keep it from falling. She felt a little bad. Thankfully she didn't manage to drop it or knock anything else over. And honestly she found her head throbbing from her own noise. She rubbed her temple gently before turning her attention back to the lady in front of her. Her smile glistened as she was told not to worry about it. Phew! She was really lucky. Her mind was just a tad off today it seemed. Normally she was a little more careful, but oh well.
"Glad to meet you, Shiloh." The petite woman happily shook the other's hand in a firm handshake, her mind swirling as she swooned over the softness of her skin. Not only that, but with their hands together it made her wonder. If she could only turn her hand in just the right way, they might... But the woman pulled away, and she mentally sighed as disappointment overcame her. Of course she wouldn't like some random stranger to hold her hand. She was just daydreaming like usual.
It didn't last long as she took in what she was pointing to. "His name is Henry, huh? I like it! I think it fits very nicely. Can I ask why he's on your eye?" Maybe it was because Lola could also sense that she was a being of nature that it didn't bother her one bit. She felt a little more at ease than usual, though she wasn't completely aware of it herself. Her tail swayed behind her contently, the tuft tickling the back of her legs with the motion. She took a step back as she grabbed the skirt of her dress and held it out, her eyes fanning over herself before looking back up with a big grin on her face. "You really think so? Thank you!" She couldn't help but giggle as she gestured to Shiloh's clothes. "I think your outfit looks pretty comfy on you. It's much more fitting for today's weather."

Shiloh turned around and started looking over the peaches turning them over in her hand. " Well you see Lola, I found this little guy in the woods one day about a month ago. Poor thing was trying to bloom, in the snow!" She put a few ripe ones in her basket. "I was a nomad at the time so I didn't have a pot or anything to put him in. So I just... put him there." Vaguely wondering if that was strange or not, she glanced around the fruit. A little bit away she spotted some cherries and instantly thought about how amazing it'd be to have some later. Maybe she could even share some with other people. Shiloh looked over at her. Maybe she would like some.Lola was the first person she had met in town, and she was really nice. Not wanting to leave Lola behind she grabbed her hand and looked into her eyes. "Come with me?"

Nodding her head in silent agreement, Lola couldn't help but giggle. Having roamed the forests of Denmark for over fourteen years in nothing but the nude, the huldra was pretty much immune to the shifting temperatures of the seasons. Warm, cold, it didn't really matter to her. However, she did enjoy the way the sun felt against her skin during those hotter months. She just couldn't wear any kind of revealing clothing that exposed her back or tail when out in public. Today seemed to be the only exception since she had done something to make her tail sore. Of course she thought her dress was long enough to hide it. Nobody commented on it yet, so she didn't exactly know her tail was partially visible.
As Shiloh began to look over the peaches, Lola was quickly reminded why she had stopped by in the first place. Meeting new people was always exciting so she tended to forget anything she was doing in that moment. She turned to face the fruit, but she still kept her focus on the woman as she told the tale about why the roses were in her eye. Thinking in the back of her mind about what sorts of fruit were good at the moment, her eyes would flicker back up to the woman briefly before returning to what she held in her hand. She picked up a few apples, inspecting them, and cradled them in her other arm since she had forgotten to grab a basket.
"Oh, no!" Her gaze shifted back towards Shiloh at the mention of him being stuck in the snow. "It's a good thing you found him then. Snow can be so mean sometimes." She flashed her a cheerful grin as she admitted putting him in her eye. It was pretty nifty that she could do that, though she hoped it hadn't hurt. Lola wasn't actually like a plant, despite having a hollowed out back like an old tree trunk, but she figured Shiloh probably was if Henry thrived being attached to her. "You've been doing a great job too since he looks so healthy now."
At the sudden grasp of her hand, Lola looked up into her eyes with confusion. "Come with me?" Hearing her speak those words had her breath get caught in her throat. The phrase caused visions of past daydreams to flutter through her mind, filled with romance and things that never came to be. She knew she would get lost in them and hastily shooed them away, knowing full well that what she heard wasn't how the other woman meant them most likely. Thinking that didn't seem to stop the butterflies, though, and she agreed with a little more enthusiasm as she squeezed her hand. "Sure!"

Holding her hand felt natural and comforting. maybe because she's another nature child. "Do you like cherries?" Shiloh was never very good at conversation. She was always more of an observer. She picked up the best bag of cherries that she could find. Cherries this time of years had a nice bitter bite to them. Still holding her hand she looked over at Lola. She was really hoping to spend mores time with her and become friends.
"I know this may be weird but....would you like to come over to my place?" As soon as the words left her mouth she remembered how humans usually used that particular phrase. She franticly rambled a bit. " I mean would you like to hang out at my place of residence whilst I make cookies for the ritual of bribing friendship out of my neighbors? I didn't mean anything weird by it I swear!" Her face turned pink and she looked down. She could hear Henry quietly giggle. Shiloh sighed and slowly looked up at Lola

It was finally her day-off, and her plan was definitely to see Luka. But first, she had to restock her pantry. Her supplies back home in Etoile were running out, so it was plausible that she had to focus on that before going along with the conversation with the pink-haired girl. She could still recall that she had work at a potions store, though the raven-haired couldn't decipher the direction. That problem would have to wait until her errand was complete.
She was currently in the mood to eat fresh, so she had to restock on fruits and vegetables. Apples, lemons and oranges would be best as a snack. Also, she was planning to make sandwiches again with lettuce and tomatoes as part of the filling aside from the meat. She had to check her grocery list every few seconds to see that she would acquire the exact quantity of everything that was jotted down there.

This was a rather new place. Melpomene did not really have much of a need to visit places like there. Her state had left her able to live without most items, but as Mel would possibly one day entertain guests she did still feel the need to replace items that had gone bad. Entering the store the ghost would instantly have no idea what she was to do. This was unfamiliar territory, but she heard that the living always came here to replenish their food and such. She had created a list earlier of items to get, but due to her blindness finding them would be difficult on her own, but luckily, she was never alone.
Lelwani was looking over the list, familiarizing itself with what it cold before it flew from Mel's shoulder, looking around for the first item on the list which was bread. Mel was not far behind, following the sound of flapping wings and the occasional chirp which created blue ripples across her vision. She silently danced across the isles following her bird. Arriving at the bread she waited for Lelwani's chirp to pick the best loaf. Within a few moment she heard it and reached, taking the bread it found.
With that item the bird flew off to get to the next item it remembered. Mel hoped she could get everything she needed today. As she moved through the isles Mel would eventually end up quite close to someone who had once visited her store, but due to her eyesight she would not even know it.

She was on the way to grab another tomato from the basket and place it on the cart when she spotted a bird. The bird was flying off somewhere, but the winged creature was not alone. Green orbs then noticed the familiar mop of orange-brown hair as well as the outfit and her memory clicked in like a light switch. Once again, she was face to face with the manager with Sucre's Refinements, the harpist who made her feel relaxed with the music.
Now feeling happy, she waved at the revenant and approached her. "Mel, I never thought I would see you again here. It had been a while since our last meeting at the candy shop."

Mel had not noticed Solaris' waving initially, simply putting a few onions into her basket when a familiar sound-wave wafted in front of her face. She turned in the direction it came into and a smile spread over the giant spirits face. It was the girl she had met at the shop that one time. Solaris she believed her name was. She wave a small wave to Solaris who commented that it had been quite awhile since their last meeting. Mel had not many people more than once, to most she would just be the manager of a candy shop, but even so she was delighted to meet Solaris again.
She gave a small bow she reached into her dress. Pulling out the card holder from last time she searched through it, feeling edges until she pulled out a card that said Hello in nice big letters with interesting designs in them, meant to add a little personality to her greetings. She pulled out another card that asked the question How are you? each letter a bit blocky and and different sized. She wished to know how Solaris was and how she had been since they last met, though of course Mel did not have such a card formulated with that specific type of question. Mel would need to get a small journal later, or resort to using her harp.
Lelwani did notice her master stop and flew over. When her eyes came upon Solaris it took her quite a moment to recognize her, but when she did she chirped loudly and waved, before nesting on Mel's right shoulder, ready to help Mel communicate.
