As the fire ball approached Epotheros just held out his hand and absorbed the majority of the energy present in that blast making it virtually harmless and the warm air rushed over him and Shadow. He wa able to d this because he was a master of heat manipulation so fire and attacks of that nature are virtually harmless. At the moment he was playing defense since he was not about to dismount Shadow and leave him as an easy target for the birds. He was after all not a ranged fighter though he had many powerfull rabged attacks, but he did not feel like revieling it to them. "They can hndle them," he said as he stayed close to Clover and Alfie.

Tramer gave a exhausted chuckle as Shmitty pointed out the oncoming birds, thou still being weak Tramer dismounted quickly unsheathing his swords, Tramer rushed forward his elvesh heritage allowing him to move gracefully through the forest at surprising speeds. The first bird came down upon Tramer from the sky, the creature lunged forward as it landed trying to catch Tramer with its razor sharp beak, nimbly Tramer stepped to the side making a full 360 degree turn, Tramer arced both his swords with his rotation, using the speed and force from his rotation Tramer easily sliced through the birds neck, the birds head fell lifelessly to the ground with a thud as the body ran off randomly as if in a state of panic, Tramer gave a slight chuckle watching the body of the bird before quickly returning his attention to the remaining animals. Quickly pickling out his next target Tramer pointed his swords toward the creature; the animal was in mid jump about fifteen feet in the air, “uris coisar vois!” Tramer said sternly, suddenly vines lunged form the ground heading for the bird, before the creature had time to act it was pulled to the ground with surprising force, the sound of a struggle was quickly over with a loud crack as the vines literally crushed the bird. Tramer’s swords fell to his side as a rush of weakness flooded over him still not being fully recuperated from the assassination attempt, quickly pulling himself together Tramer lifted his swords back up using just enough of the swords energy to be able to continue the fight.

Watching the others slay the awful arch birds, Clover sat upon Alfie near Epotheros. A steady swirl of wind was circling her. This was second nature now. Always when danger reared its ugly head the wind was there to protect Clover, even if she hadn’t even willed it. She heard Epotheros’ comment about letting the others take care of it all, but she still had her bow readied an arrow perched in anticipation.

Kendra notched an arrow again, now picking the furthest bird from her She aimed, and loosed, the arrow soaring into the sky, and coming nearly straight down on the creatures head, and the making it all the way through the base of the jaw, keeping the creatures mouth shut. This process took all but a few seconds. She repeated, continuously hitting the foul arch birds in vital or nearly vital areas swiftly. She reached for another arrow, only to find her quiver was empty. She frantically searched the area around her, to no avail. an Arch bird grew closer to her, a broken arrow shaft sticking out of its eye. It screeched. Kendra ducked, but the bird managed to barely scrape the top of her skull. The blood trickled down her neck.

'Some one's down Clover, come on!" Epotheros said as he raced over to the bird that had just hit the ground after trying to attack Kendra. From horse back he was able to disable it with a deep slash upon it's back.

Kendra, ignoring the deep gashes in her scalp, crawled over to the corpse of the first bird she killed, yanking the arrow free of its throat. She held it up like a sword. I am no good at hand to hand combat, but I needed something to defend myself with......my arrow won't flay straight anyways.

Seeing the blood run down kendra's neck, Shmitty started to fill with rage.
he quikly moved to Kendra who was on the ground, He pulled out his sword and pointed it at her, it was Humming as it did before, his eyes were peering straght into hers, he mumbled a few words "Angelic light..." the sword let out a bright light that engulfed her body, while in the light there was a mystereis almost godly voice that only Kendra could heir, Maybe Larien and Tramer if they were close enough, "Hahaha, dont worry child. there will be no more pain." the light disapperd from around her and the wound was reduced to a minor scrap on her head. he pulled the sword away and lifted her up with one arm, sitting her down on her horse, slapping the horses behind to make it run away from the action.
still completly inraged he looked around and counted five of the Arch birds left, two semi among the group and the other three jest in frount of them... he was going to do somthing daring and mostlikly stupid.
Shmitty Jumped into the Air, over the three birds and landing behind them, he turned and yelled to the Birds "Hey you stupid Beasts, free lunch over here" the birds turned and welcomed the offer, sprinting towards him. screeching was there battle cry, the closets one trying its luck.
Shmitty cutting it in half with a powerfull stroke of his sword, the others were now right there with him. off gard, one head butted him and knocked him to the ground, landing on his back, He quikly rolled over and hunched over to hide his head, covering it with his left arm. his right arm holding his sword, the blade flat to his chest, the birds started to mall him, bucking him hard in the back, scratching away his robes. but no flesh. shmitty was hiding a speacil secret in his robes, thck mythril armor, the shiny plate glimerd as the dumb birds continued to batter him, one of them grabing his left arm in its beak, wrench it around. shmitty felt and hurd his bones breaking as the bird tryed to cut threw the mythril chain mail. shmitty let out a horifing scream of pain, somhow finding it in himself to yell out his surprise attack "SHOCKING BLAST!!!" his sword emitted lightning, but it had no were to go but threw the mythril, a daziling display of blue light emitted from shmitty and to the birds. thunder followed as well as the zapping and crackleing as the remaning electrisaty jumped from bird to bird, there bodys tenseing up and falling ontop and around shmitty, smoke came from the pile... then a bulde as shmitty lifted his sword and brought the bottom of the hilt to the earth pulling himself from the mess of dead birds, he got three feet from the birds before rolling himself over and passing out from the pain surgeing threw his left arm and body, a trail of fresh blood came from his left arm as the bone stuck out, his body was smoking fromt the attake useing his own armor and body as a conducter to the birds. it was amazing he was still alive.

Just as the birds had been delt with four orcs appeared from out of the bush. Three of them were lightly armored, one with a cross bow, one with twin short swords and the last with a plain spear. The fourth was dressed in mage robes and was already chanting. By this time Epotheros had already dismounted his hourse and was preparing himself for the fight. He was in no mood to waste time fighting them and insisted on taking them out with a single flaming sweep from his sword. When he attempted this however the fire did not launch from the blade like a cresent shaped free moving form of energy, but stayed close to the sword's edge.

'It seems that the mage had something to do with this by using a spell that drasticly decreases all types of magic in the area, perhaps to level him off with their own fighters," Epotheros said to himself.

Just then the orc with the cross bow launched an arrow encased in wind towards Kendras head while the orc with the twin sword set them ablaze and charged towrds Ezorin. The last orc with the spear raised it to the sky. Imediatly Epotheros removed his chest plate and gauntlets before and threw the tip of his sword into the ground, before a bolt of lightning came crashing down from the heavens above and arched itself off of the sword onto the other pieces of metal Epotheros was formerly wearing.

((Right now the mage has put a cap on how much magical energy can flow through the imediate area which will greatly weaken people like Epotheros and Tramer to where their magical abilities are no stronger than the orc's.))

Kendra dodged the arrow and grabbed its shaft miraculously. Did I know I could do that? She notched it on her bow instantly and shot, sending it quickly sailing through the air, hitting the orc with the cross bow right between the eyes. She dismounted her horse, which continued to run. "Dumb animal." She ran over to Shmitty. "I hope he's okay...." Her attention was brought back to the orcs. "Crap, I'm retarded." She backed up against a tree, and slung her bow over her back like a sash before she ran around the tree and climbed it, hiding amoung the branches. She pulled out a dagger she picked up off Shmitty's person and started making crude and somewhat dull wooden arrows. SHe fired one: miss. She hated shooting from trees, it was nearly impossible to aim. She shot one after another, hoping to make her mark sometime soon.

"Yahhh!" Rosette yelled, glad to be fighting. So far, she couldn't do much damage with a staff. But when ever an emeny came her way, she could punt it away from her, or her friends when she was close enough.

Clover dismounted Alfie and urged him to hide. The arch birds were now defeated, but of course the fight wasn’t over, and she still hadn’t contributed any. Clover watched as the orcs took stance in front of the group. She could feel the wind swirling around her lessen in speed, but it still attempted to protect her nonetheless. She released the arrow she had readied earlier. Having aimed it straight for the mage’s head. The arrow was surrounded in wind much like the orc’s, though the wind laced around this one was meant to add accuracy along with force more than just brute power. After she let loose the arrow, Clover backed up towards the tree she saw Kendra scurry up. She wanted to make sure that the girl was alright. Though Clover couldn’t see her she yelled, “Are you alright?” without actually looking up the tree, to not give away Kendra’s position.
