At this point, he thought anything that could happen at Ecruteak wouldn't be as rough. Except maybe Morty. "I have to admit, Whitney actually surprised me a bit over the past couple of days. The Ditto and pulling the stunt with the Snorlax for instance; it's not something that I hear about her all that often, if at all." I said as we started to get closer to the gates at the National Park.

"You're getting experiences that you, yourself, can pretty much pull off your own at one point or another. Do like you have done with me teaching you. Basically throw your own spin on it with what you know." I said. "Funnier still though, you're just about to hit the half-way point after Ecruteak City and you pretty much are chugging right along pretty well." It wasn't long before we finally reached the National Park's northern entrance. "Let's see...he said that...over here, Aden..." I said, walking off towards the eastern gate. "Here's a bit of a bit of a tip for you the next time you're on foot...if you don't want to go through the entire park to head towards Ecruteak, or even for that matter, Violet City, just got to come over this way." I said, going down the path. "It's actually much closer to the junction that connects the three cities here in Johto." I told him.

"True... though if Whitney's shown anything, it may not be that easy. As for throwing a spin, well..." Aden said, shrugging. He pretty much did that anyway, or tried to. It didn't take him long to notice and wave to Ryan. "Ah, there you are."

"Well he's going to need to get by his apprentice first. Aden already had a couple of exhibition bouts with her before he started his gym run, and well...yeeeah. But hey, he's came a long way. He should do fine." I said to him. "Anyways, let's get going."

Ryan nods and heads on through the gatehouse. This was one of the shortest routes in between Jhoto cities. They would be in Ecruteak in no time at all.

I made my way off down the path and taking in the sights as we made our journey to Ecruteak City. I was ready to see Tails and Freth again to say at the very least. Yea, sure, it hasn't been THAT long, but I felt kind of guilty for not spending as much time with Tails and Freth as I should have been. I'd have to be sure as to make it up to the both of them. Which I probably would have the time for. In Aden's case, he'd have his own family issues to contend with once we get back to the mansion.

Issues that, in his mind, he wasn't looking forward to. Thankfully, not with his father. But maybe fortune would continue to smile on him, in its insane, crooked way. He was quiet as he followed Blizzard and Ryan, a little surprised that at least this part had come full circle.
