To get a tooth cut out of my jaw O-o You’re still scared about that? xd I HATE DENTIST scream stressed "Calm down, there's nothing wrong with them. It only hurts when they give you the shot... unless the shot doesnt numb it good enough, in which case you scream and cry, so they know to give you another shot... owchies. Oh well, I'm a pro at handeling shots."

So now imagine them trying to continue upgrading the site while there's X-thousands of people browsing the forums at the same time. There's jsut bound to be bugs, especially in pre-beta phases. xp

So now imagine them trying to continue upgrading the site while there's X-thousands of people browsing the forums at the same time. There's jsut bound to be bugs, especially in pre-beta phases. xp i thought it was the other way arround? isnt beta the trial version and alpha the final project? oo... nvm...

But anyhow, I learned that alpha = first rough design version, beta = second, testing version, then after that it's release. ^^
What Gaia did was to open to public in alpha, allowing them to add new features and gte feedback on it very soon after, which makes for easier bug picking and faster development, although it can sometimes overload the servers and some people can exploit the glitches. 3nodding
