Upon hearing that, Aden's gait halted so abruptly that he fell flat on his face. "What!? Someone actually likes that guy!?" He asked.

"Oh, I know that Blizz. I have seen him and Morty be quite chummy. But I have also seen Morty call him out and chastise him for his zealot pursuit of Suicune. As Morty has said, "The Legendary Beast of the North Wind cannot be caught by chasing after it. it must arrive at your presence once you have brought forth proof that you are worthy of it's companionship." Ryan recites with his eyes closed.

"Huh." Even something that I didn't even know. Go figure. Well, not like it was my business anyhow to figure out what goes through the mind of that ghost lover anyhow. He's confusing enough as is, and taking up an apprentice that is as stiff as a board even throws me in even more of a loop. "...well...I...don't even know what to say to that."

"Or in my case, be a winner of the weirdness lottery on a regular basis." Aden quipped, getting back to his feet. "Anyway, I can't even fully make heads or tails of that one."

Ryan shrugs. "Only reason I know that much is that back in the day I actually spent a few months in Ecruteak after I beat Morty. I have always shown an interest in all the old legends. When Morty found out, he kind took me under his wing. He told me all the old legends, some in ways I had never heard before. Of course, I asked many questions and he gladly answered without hesitation or complaint. But I eventually left to continue on my journey. it would be in the years that followed that I would return every now and then and ask him if had heard anything new." Ryan explains to both Blizz and Aden.

Ryan explains to both Blizz and Aden. "Hmm...well, as long as we don't have to deal with Eusine as long as we're in Ecruteak, I'm fine. Better if we can go the rest of this trip." I said. "I swear, why do I waste my energy on that obsessive idiot is beyond me. He doesn't ever take a hint."

"Ah, if he shows up, he shows up." Aden said, shrugging. What Ryan said was a little interesting, though. But he opted not to say anything of it for now. "I find him usable for practice, even if he's a little annoying."

"Yeah, and any practice is helpful." Ryan says to Aden. He then remembers something. "I wonder if there will a strange tree blocking our way." Ryan says with a smirk. If there was, it would be rather interesting to see how Aden would handle it.

"I don't see that being any problem..."

"...Tree?" Now he was confused. "I don't think a tree can grow that fast- oh, that kind of tree." Well, was before Blizzard's response, anyway. "It can't be anything too bad, can it?"

Ryan sighs. "Blizz, it was supposed to be a surprise. Good going in spoiling it." he says. Ryan then turns to Aden. "And no, you shouldn't have too much trouble with it." he says, disappointed that Blizz let the Meowth out of the bag that quickly.

"If it's even there." A surprise? To Aden, a sentient tree was... well, different. But nothing too unusual.

"Oh, that was supposed to be a secret? Well mum's the word then." I said, crossing my arms. I'd figure that the Sudowoodo out here would have been fairly common knowledge...then again, I tend to forget the audience in question. So yea, my fault.

"Oh come on, it's out in the open now...!" At least he did take the chance to look it up on his SNAG. "Lesse.... ah, here it is." Contrary to what he thought, it wasn't a Grass-type at all. Finding this out left him just muttering "what" as he stared at the screen.

Ryan chuckles as he watches and hears Aden. "Still think you can handle that strange tree?" he says teasingly. He had no doubt that the kid could.
