I took notice to something as Ryan and Aden started talking about the Pokemon were supposedly in the area. "Huh...another Apricorn tree..." I said. There in the distance, there was in fact a few branches blooming with Apricorn nuts. A bit yellow in color, if I wasn't mistaken.

Ryan looks over to where Blizz had pointed out. "Ah. Yellow Apricorns. Kurt can turn those into Moon Balls. Moon Balls are best for catching pokemon that evolve via a moonstone." Ryan says, calling on his knowledge of the region.

"Probably. Though it not being a Grass-type makes no- oh, a tree?" Aden didn't take long in making way for one of them. Either he had been conditioned to at least have a stash of them, or his attention was easily broken by them. He took one of the Apricorns rather quickly, at that. "Doubt it's the most useful one I'll see, though. I don't think all that many even evolve through one."

Aden would inavertingly pull down the entire branch on the tree from pulling down that one Apricorn. He would also find that one tree had a face. "Sudo? Woodo?" I had to hold back a laugh. Comes to show how often Aden pays attention to his instincts. Yea, I was testing him...it also makes a nice prank.

Ryan blinks and then laughs out loud. "Bravo Blizz! That was perfectly executed." he says with a hugs smile.

"There, got- woah!" Not expecting to pull the branch in the process, Aden fell backwards. He didn't have time to stand back up before realizing that the tree wasn't really a tree at all. "Wait a minute, how... but... okay, okay, I need to pay more attention. Um. Here?"
Figuring it was best not to upset it, he held up the Apricorn he grabbed.

The Sudowoodo snatched the branch back from Aden then went back to posing as it was, only this time it was facing Aden. What a weird kid he is. "Sudo woooodo." This one was just apparently out enjoying himself, not really getting in anyone's way...for now, anyways.

"Huh... okay then..." So far, so good. A fight didn't break out, and aside from it facing him, he figured he was safe. "Weird tree thing, though." He commented as he got up, shrugging. "Ryan, Blizz, I don't really see how this one's getting in anyone's way."

Pokemon like Sudowoodo do this sort of thing all the time." I said.

"Sudowoodo may be bad, but Snorlax are worse. Half ton roadblocks when one decides to plop down and take a nap where it shouldn't. and I hear that Hoenn has a pokemon that can block passage while being invisible. That has to be most frustrating." Ryan says to Aden, making his way past the Sudowoodo and continuing on towards Ecruteak.

"Yeah, point taken... and um. Yeah, I'm fairly sure we won't be seeing those in Jhoto." Aden said, sincerely hoping he wouldn't be eating his words later. Cautious, he walked away from the Sudowoodo.

The walk went for the most part uneventful. Though I couldn't help but to think back to when I was last on this route. It was funny how Aden tried to rush down this route to Violet City in such a hurry, or wanted to anyways, but it probably was a fortunate thing that I stopped him as soon as he got out of the mansion door. It wouldn't be too long before the three of us find the outskirts to Ecruteak City. "Well, we're back."

"Aye. That we are." Ryan says with a sigh. "I wonder if boss fox is even in." he adds.

"Dunno." Aden commented, still a little surprised at making it to Ecruteak without a hitch. "Though, huh... we actually went a route without anything too out of the ordinary happening. I think luck's finally being nice."
