Name: Sion Astal| Uncert- Unedited | Uncert - Edited | Cert | Meaning: xx• Sion /Hebrew/ A hill in Jerusalem - Variation of Zion. xx• Astal /Origin Unknown/ Surname Pride:Tengoku no Kurēdoru Rank: Kaze-ou Status:Plotted to mate to Maa-nefer after a few fateful encounters! Personality: Sion was born a b*****d to an aloof ruler and a common lioness from within the pride. As he grew older, his royal half-brothers made his life a living hell. He was beat mercilessly, tormented, bullied, and isolated. His mother and a small genet were his only source of comfort. Unfortunately, just after Sion began growing into early adolescence his mother fell gravely ill. By the end of the rainy season, she was gone. To make matters worse, his half-siblings sought out and brutally murdered his genet companion, leaving the carcass at the mouth of he and his mother's den.
Distraught and outraged, Sion left his home pride. Once the pain of his grief scarred over, the young lion made himself a promise that he would start his own pride, secure the throne as king, and see that those he served were judged by the merit of their character rather than the circumstances of his birth.
He's an idealist, perhaps bordering on naive at times. He abhors violence, cruelty, and always tries to find the diplomatic approach. Sion's a bit of a workaholic and at times drives himself beyond exhaustion. He has a good heart and good intentions, but he's not above blackmail if the ends justify the means.
Plots? • Sion needs loyalists! Good friends, other lions who believe in his cause, and are willing to follow him wherever he will lead them. • He will eventually rule his own kingdom, so his loyalists must be willing to join his future pride with him. • Bullies! Hostilities! • IF the plot works out (And I will be EXCEEDINGLY PICKY on this), half-siblings. Blank slate lions that look like they could be related to him through a father. These can be from an assumed pride or an i/t but current prides are a little big for him to come from one of their backgrounds. These half siblings will likely want the worst for Sion but there can be a nice sibling out there. • Friends! • Sion will meet up with his future mate, Maa-nefer, shortly after he has reached adulthood. At this time he will be a little beaten, just starting on his journey. He will meet with her again on the outskirts of the pridelands as a more confident, headstrong young male. The two will quietly fall for one another, but Sion will see his duty as being his primary obligation. The two will separate once more. In his absence, Maa will take romantic comfort in her longtime friend and companion, Gaddith, resulting in a litter of cubs. Some time after, Maa-nefer will receive a summons to a newly founded kingdom, ruled by Sion. Gaddith will encourage her to follow her heart and join Sion as his queen, escorting her personally to the new pride and her new life.
