Ryan smiles upon hearing the voice. He turns and faces Morty with a smile. "Good to see you again, Morty. What brings you out here this evening?" he says then asks.

"I could say the same to you, actually." he said, looking up towards the tower. "To be frank, I almost wonder if any one of us truly need to be here."

"Sir, do you think that you should-"

"Kristy, please. I know that you're serious about this; as am I. He's a friend. I appreciate your concern."

"...yes sir." she said.

Ryan looks between the two. Now where had he seen this before? He then turn to Morty. "I am only out here because I was seeking some quiet. But if there is something you wish to speak to me about, we can leave to another place where prying or chance ears cannot hear." Ryan says. something strikes him and he smiles while letting off a small chuckle.

"Nah, its fairly common knowledge to those here in town, and also to those at the Bell Tower." Morty said to him. "Kristy is more concern about those on the outside, however, as to how it may affect the visitors. Last thing anyone wants, really, is to think of this place like a second Lavender Town. The ghosts here in this tower are stirring quite a bit, and I'm unsure as to why." Morty said.

"It's not for the better." Kristy said. "It's as if the ghosts themselves sense gloom to befall upon their home, somehow."

"Ah, right, Miles. You'd be right. I forgot how quiet it's been for a moment there." Sol answered.

Ceramew, for what it was worth, didn't say a word this time. For now.

"Huh, wha-" Aden managed to catch the box, almost falling in the process. He stopped himself in short order, letting out a sigh of relief. Given his track record, he honestly wouldn't have been surprised if he did break whatever was inside. If not shatter the box itself, regardless of whatever it was made of. "Thanks...?" A little confused nevertheless, he went ahead with opening it.

Ryan nods. "That is troubling. Lavender Town gets a bad rap as it is. The big difference is that it is located in an isolated corner of Kanto. Ecruteak is a variable crossroads for Jhoto. It would be very bad if that fate befell this city. I assume the reason you are here is to do some investigating?" Ryan says and then asks of the Gym Leader.

"I've actually been doing some investigating for a little while now, at least for a couple of days, to keep a close eye on it. Kristy and I take turns, just so that we can keep the ghosts at ease as well as still perform our gym duties as if nothing was going on." Morty said.

For Aden, once he finally opened the box, he'd find a suit of clothes for him, brand new, specially tailored just for him. It was heavier than the one he was wearing now for starters, since he has long since gotten used to the weight of it. For that matter, since he's becoming more and more adept at chi, and for that matter, actually shaping out to be a fairly tough looking adult, fairy comments aside, the shirt, vest, the pants, and gloves were slightly bigger to better fit him. Incidentally, the wing slots on the shirt and vest were a bit bigger as well to better fit his wings.

"But that won't last forever, now will it? You obviously approached me with reason, Morty. What is it that you need my assistance for?" Ryan says, then asks him. Morty didn't speak idly or speak without reason. there had to be reason for him to explain all of this.

"Actually, seeing you here was just a mere coincidence. I really didn't expect you to be here, or at least right at this very moment. Last I knew, you just have left Goldenrod City not too long ago with Blizzard and Aden. That said, however, you do...perhaps...might can help me with something and keep an eye on any odd occurrences that might relate to this. Since I would imagine you, Blizzard, and even Aden are probably no stranger to danger at this point, dealing with the rangers and all for one, you might be able to help me rectify this at one point or another." Morty explained to him. "For as all I know, this probably isn't centralized here. The most I have to go on is ghosts acting restless."

Ryan nods and sighs. "I will gladly keep an eye out for you, Morty. Considering all that you have taught me over years, it is the least I can do. And trouble always comes with being on a Journey. Although Aden seems to be a trouble magnet, attracting things beyond even what the normal trainer would have to deal with. Which reminds me. Your old friend is up to his old antics again." Ryan explains to the Gym Leader.

"There's only one 'friend' that I can think of that 'antics' would be had." Kristy said.

"Eusine. But his antics are always constant. Always on the hunt-" Something then occurred to Morty just then. It almost made him go pale.

"Sir? Is there a problem?"

"Have either you, Blizzard, or Aden seen Suicune by chance?" he asked.

Seeing what was inside... well. That explained the weight of the box. And he was fairly sure he wouldn't break its contents easily. In a way, he was glad since there was always that hint of inevitability. In another, he was used to what he had, and the idea of having even heavier was never pleasant. "Suddenly, I'm afraid of how much these weigh now." Knowing what he did have, he was likely justified.

"On the bright side, you can say your clothes double as chain mail." Sol commented.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?"

"What kind of father would I be if I didn't?"

"...mind you, I'm doing stuff along the lines what you should have been doing from the get go." I said to Sol. "Do I need to remind you of that AGAIN?"

"Since I have joined them, all three have us have bared witness to the Beast of the North Wind twice." Ryan explains to him.

"..." This was a bit unconforting to the both of them. Kristy shook her head; she couldn't believe that such a sacred beast would appear so casually. Morty had different concerns however. "...Ryan, that beast in particular has been known to have a reputation of an Absol. The reason why you ended up seeing Eusine is because it just so happen that Suicune had crossed paths with you in some form. After being a nuisance to the populous, I had Eusine take his whole 'hunt' in private; which, well...he very well kept his word for the longest. If Suicune appeared to any one of you first, then Suicune may feel that you may be the hope that this land is looking for...against whatever crisis is bound to be out there." He explained.

"Several years ago, as I understood, something similar happened with a boy out of New Bark Town...namely, the one that eventually defeated Lance at Mt. Silver." Kristy spoke up. "The boy in question before getting his name engraved in the hall of fame ended up contributing to Team Rocket's permanent demise. Though I'd like to see a Ranger admit that." she said.

"As much as it might upset Eusine...apparently Suicune has high hopes for one of you." Morty then said. "Gold, those years ago, surely didn't disappoint. But I have to admit, even this got me worried...the whole Team Rocket incident years ago didn't cause this kind of ruckus."

"I know. I was traveling the region for my badges when all that was going down. It's funny. For awhile it seemed like I was just in Gold's wake. always getting to where he had been just a shade too late to be of any help, not that he of all trainers required help. I may need to speak with Aden and Blizz. I didn't join them until they were on their way out Violet City. Where can I meet back up with you once I have spoken with them?" Ryan says then asks Morty.

"You can find us at the gym if you want to find us later tonight. I don't have plans and considering Aden faced Whitney earlier today, I doubt he'll be up for any battles as well." Morty said.

"Even I admit, Whitney is not to be toyed with." She ended up crossing her arms and started making a mention of cows under her breath.

Ryan nods. "Alright. I will come by then." he says. As he turns to go he hears Kristy muttering and chuckles. "She has a Snorlax that is pretty mean too." Ryan says, his comment an obvious parting shot at the girl.
