Kaine hung his head down in shame not wanting to look at her only crying "i only remember how happy i was when i had you and how you broke my heart when you left... i remember how you used to look at me with those sapphire eyes...how you used to tell me how much you loved me...how we used to spend so much time looking at the clouds at night laying in the grass... how you made waffles for me just the way i like them...its been two years and i havent forgetten a thing..." Kaine raised his head his eyes still red and flooding with tears "what ever happend to this?" he pulled out a ring "when you said i do..." (wow im making myself proud here)

She reached out and touched his face "You don't remember the elder of my clans death?
And you forgot about when the elder dies us elves have to go into hiding, and I have to uphold that law even more so than my clan because I am the princess of the elves." she said in her soft, gentle voice
"I put a note with that ring saying that I'll be back, our elder died and we needed to hide until a new elder was chosen then I will come back and marry you, I promise"

Kaine hugged her tightly "you never told me... we were robbed after you left and i spent all my days since then as a bounty hunter hoping to get this ring back from whoever took it, i thought if i hunted down every criminal i'd get it back eventually... i found it a week ago but there was no note to go along with it." he held her head closer to his heart "i had to go through so much to find it... you never told me you were a princess... when Summer... when is the new elder going to be chosen? How long must i wait..." Kaine then realized what tommy said. Then he said "ok just lie on the ground till i handcuff you i'd rather not spill any blood today."
