I'm assuming that's a safety on the back end of it? How easy is that to flip? Looks hard.

It's not noticeably difficult, at least on the USP40 I used. Different amounts of wear might change that, though.

A safety that's hard to take off. What a wonderful design for a combat weapon. The Luger had the same problem, with the same component, in the same place. Germany hasn't learned much in the last 60 years, have they?

Thinking back on things my grandma wanted me to tell her what things of hers I would want after she died. Less than a year later she died and all I got is a necklace. I decided I should see about something from my grandpa, but I didn't really want to sound selfish. Today we went out to lunch and I decided to ask if anyone claimed the Luger yet. He said he will let me have it for my 21st birthday. biggrin

It has a nice display box and everything. blaugh I'll see about snapping a picture some time.
