Trigramatic "Alright." Tails took Tristen by the wrist, and grinned. Within seconds, the air didn't feel quite as warm, but still humid. "Now try," he said, tails wagging. Tristen dipped his foot once more and he kept it in for a bit. "This one is real good." He said. "Come on. Lets get in!" he said.

"I wonder where Sub has been." Toren said to himself as he kicked back in the lone bean bag chair in the main area of HQ, his Beldum was floating around his head making circles and beeping rhythmically, the Pokemon seemed to enjoy doing this and it's trainer didn't seem bothered by it in the least. "Well at least he had some good magazines." He said flipping through one of Sub's magazines, this one was about female Pokemon trainers. "Eh, he likes women too much."

"Well, this is the same spot," Tails said. He let Tristen go and though it got warmer, it wasn't burning. This was to prove that even separated, Tails had learned to siphon heat. "Did you notice what I'm doing?"

"Well, I wouldn't let you go, but yeah," Tails answered. "Once I can jump into a lava stream with a Rattata and it doesn't burn to death, it means I can keep you save as well."
As he talked, he stripped his clothes, tossing them onto a jagged rock near the cavern wall. "Just be careful not to sleep here. I think your temperature would get too high and you'd get sick."

"Oh, ok." he said, taking his own clothes off. He didn't want to get them wet or anything of the sort. He then slowly made his way in and slipped down deeper and deeper into the water to just where his head stayed above the water. He then made a content sigh...

Tails, meanwhile, lay down in the shallow, watching Tristen. As long as he didn't go under, the situation was okay. "If you get too hot, just tell me. And then be sure to tell me when you get too cold. I think one time I took a little too much fire from Blizz once..."

"And why would Blizz have fire anyways?"

"He's still human," Tails reminded. "And so are you. With no fire at all, you'll get really, really cold and unenergetic unless you're an elemental or something. But I gave it back. It's what I'm doing to you right now."

He asked.

I finally made it back to the headquarters with Ein's Briefcase in hand. I'd figure it might be good to look through later. See what Ein was trying to get out of the building so quickly. Though in all honesty, it didn't interest me right now. I set it where Sub could find it later for him to look through, since he would ultimately be looking at it, and made my way into the kitchen. I sat down at a chair at the table and leaned my head over upon it. This entire time I was wanting to exact vengance upon Ein for those moral and physical crimes he's committed...but in the end, I couldn't do it. I wanted to do it...blast it, I been around Miles far too long. Though really? It may not have been all that bad of a thing.
That miles-esque brand clarity that I had for that one moment made me sick to my stomach just about. I knew he was thinking on the Pokemon's well being and all but I didn't look at it from Miles point of view and it took that brief instance, when victory was all ours, to make me realize just what exactly Miles had meant this entire time, which in essence, even when Ein had taken Miles's own son and had him converted, that he couldn't bring himself to do. And what was the more gut-wrenching was the fact that prior to me leaving Ein to the altered Pokemon's devices, I ended up killing one of those Pokemon, namely a Pokemon who was changed in a similar fashion to Tails was, just to save myself and another person. In silence, I kind of mourned that Pokemon.
"Son of a..." I rested my head on the table...just waiting for the peace of acceptance to come around. It wasn't going to be easy, despite it being all over now.

Odd walked into the kitchen, seeming very shy and scared. "Um....Blizzard. Sir." He was looking at the floor the whole time. "Um...I...I wanted to say....to say thank you. For...for um...saving my life back there." He had never had any experience talking to people like this. Especially considering he only knew this guy's name because Lykas had told him what it was. "You....you saved my life.... If you hadn't been there...I'd probably have been killed by that hybrid. Thanks.....again." He offered a small smile of thanks and left. He was tired.

Requiem of Whyspers Odd walked into the kitchen, seeming very shy and scared. "Um....Blizzard. Sir." He was looking at the floor the whole time. "Um...I...I wanted to say....to say thank you. "You....you saved my life.... If you hadn't been there...I'd probably have been killed by that hybrid. Thanks.....again." He offered a small smile of thanks and left. He was tired. I picked my head up and looked over towards him. I saved his life. Probably so. It was only one of the few things that I am able to take solace in right at the moment. Before I was able to say "No problem" or anything to that regard, he left. "...." Probably just as well. The guy seemed shy as all get out. Today has been hard on everyone in their own way. I best leave the guy to his peace, I guess.

Odd ran into Lykas on his way to his room. "Hey."
"You holding up ok?"
"I'll be alright."
Lykas laid a hand on Odd's shoulder and offered him a smile. "You did good today. Remember, it's not easy to be one of us. We do things that would make a lot of peoples' stomachs turn. But we do it all for the sake of those same people who couldn't do it themselves."
"I've heard. And I think today kind of drove that in pretty hard." Odd responded.
"Ya, I hadn't expected this to happen so soon. But you held up and that's saying something. Try not to dwell on it. We did what needed to be done and Ein got what was coming to him. But it wasn't at our hands. In a sense, your hands are still clean." Lykas knew better than anyone what it meant to be a spiritual person in a situation like this. "If you feel like it helps, go pray." He tossed the boy a rosary of pearls as he offered him one more smile.
"Thanks, Lykas." Odd responded as he caught the rosary, wrapping it in his fist as he did. "Maybe that will help." He smiled, a little more at ease. "I'll see you tomorrow. I'm feeling really tired just now. Oh, and if you see Blizzard, let him know I'd like to talk to him tomorrow, would you?"
"Sure thing. Good night." Lykas nodded and waved the teen off as he headed for his room. Lykas walked the rest of the way to his own room and flopped down on his bed. Today was pretty crazy.

"Blizz taught me a lot of what I first learned," Tails said. "Using attacks, learning to resist. Stuff normal hybrids should know. Miles taught me about the trigrams. And how to read."
There was a shaking beneath the water. Tails opened one eye, but he assumed a small portion of rock had collapsed deep beneath him. It was a common enough occurrence, to his experience.
