((Im sorry Chloie, I imagined Seto standing up and Mokuba had jumped into a hug with his arms around Setos shoulders and legs wrapped around Setos waist, but now Seto seems on the floor sweatdrop my bad.))
He did not see his brother turn towards Jou, he was to busy staring at the boy himself. He could not even begin to think of Seto leaving him, he had no idea what Jou was feeling right now. He and Seto were the lucky ones that made it, they knew what to do when the plane was about to crash. Then, he could feel Setos eyes on him. Mokuba turned to meet his gaze, his eyes seemed shocked in realizing something. Returning his brothers gaze with a questioned look, but he remained silent, it seemed Seto did not want to say what was on his mind.
His brother pulled away from him before speaking. He understood what Seto was about to do. It seemed like a good idea, even if Seto seemed a little nervous about the whole thing. He nodded softly as his brother told him what to do and who not to talk to. It seemed Seto still found them to be strange. Just before he could leave, the plane came tumbling down from the tree. His eyes grew as the plane came closer into view, just barely missing the two of them.
Clinging back to his brother as the plane collided with the ground, buring his head into his brothers body. The wind whisped his hair harshly to one side as the wind began to pick up pace. There was no way he was going to leave his brother now, he was right, they needed to find shelter. But the only thing about that was where to find shelter strong enough to withstand a hurricane. Then he heard his brother cry out for Jou to move away from the storm. His eyes looked over, though his hands never left his brothers shirt.
"Jou!! Come on, we have to find shelter! You have to get up!!" he cried out trying to grasp his attention.

Soon his body fell numb with only tears showing emotion. His eyes had grown sore from the tension of the tears. All of his pride ahd left him, he had no shame in crying. His sister was gone, and just that morning they were getting in the car ready to leave the world their parents created for them. Being completely alone on this trip, doing whatever they wanted. At that point even Kaiba being there did not phase him. He even had all the shops they were going to visit planned out. A little carrying never hurt a man before, especially if it was for his little sister. But now all of those were just memories.
His sadness turned to anger, he broke all of his promises. He had failed to return her to the beach like they had done before her eyes went bad. They were not able to escape the grasp of their parents. And now..his worst failure, protecting his sister from death itself. He wondered why he did not try harder, he should ahve been able to protect her from all of this. His nails becoming filled with the earth underneath them. The grass had been pulled from its roots now grasped in Jous fingers. Feeling almost to the point of passing out as his body began to lose its energy and will. This once powerful city boy had now fallen victim to the elements.
"I'm sorry sis...I..broke all my promises..all your hopes and dreams. I could not protect you..what kind of brother am I?" he asked her, with no answer to be expected.
His eyes were lost in a pained smile as the tears fell numbly down his cheeks. He almost did not hear the whistling wind behind him, or the crashing of the plane. But soon he did hear his name, but it seemed to be anothers voice.
"Serenity?" he whispered in a hopeful confusion.
Then out of his dreams, he heard Kaiba call out to him, then following by his little brother. Like he had done before, but this time he whispered Kaibas name. Turning his gaze back, seeing what reality had in store for the group. Cursing aloud to himself as he stared at the storm in the eyes. Turning back to Serenity, gazing depressed at her lifeless body. But he turned firm, he was not going to leave her here to be destroyed like this. She needed a proper burial when the time came. Scooping her up in his arms as he took to his feet and ran towards the Kaibas.
"Where can we find shelter to withstand this?!" he shouted through the winds cries.

Mokuba looked up at his big brother, tears streaming naturally down his cheeks. He was not scared, but his body made the tears seep through his lids. Wind whistling in his ear, singing of their death and forcing time to pass faster. Now was when Mokuba became scared. Grasping his brothers shirt more, praying he would not leave. Trying to be brave for Seto, he also tried to think of where to find shelter.
Looking about there surroundings, immitating his brothers gaze as both of their eyes shfted around. But the storm was moving faster then his thoughts, his mind fogged from the clouds in the sky, becoming hard to think. With a sudden crash, a tree crumbled towards the earth, causing Mokuba to jump slightly. Letting out a small cry of fear, if they did not move soon, they would be killed easily my mother natures rage. Then, without time to think, he was pulled.
Running alongside his brother as they ran down hill. It was always hard to keep up with his brothers long strides when he ran. But due to the strong hold Seto had of his hand, he was keeping up well. To a degree he was being dragged by his brothers strength. His feet felt air as they seemed to be lifting from the ground. They were flying so rapidly, they did not stay one with the ground, allowing the earth to catch him off guard. With the earth gripping to his toes, his hand slipped clean out of Setos. Moving his hand for a guard, his body made contact. Falling face first with a mouth full of dirt, rolling harshly down the hill. His arm soon stopped him, but it became hard to move.
Groaning in pain and fear, it was a time like this he hated how short his legs were.

Jou rushed after Seto, who had now been carrying Mokuba. He was relieved to see that Mokuba was alright. The last thing he wanted was for Seto to feel the same as he was now. His heart sank at the thought of his sister lying dead in his arms. Fighting the tears, he closed his eyes to appear it was only to protect from the wind. Before he knew it, he was in the cave with Seto and Mokuba. Looking at Seto in this new light made his heart race. Why was he feeling like this? Wondering if it was due to Kaiba saving his life, or if it was something else entirely.
Placing his sister on the ground beside him, his gaze looked away from Kaiba. Now feeling the ache in his chest, nothing mattered excpet for Serenity. But then he suddenly got a thought, where were the others? Tristian and Duke were still out there. And Bakura was there too. He was unsure of how many more were actually alive, but he knew there was more then just him and the Kaibas. Turning to the entrance of the cave he rushed over. Peering out into the storm, trying to find the others within the chaos. Spotting Duke not far from the cave, but he seemed to be shrinking.
'Oh crap quicksand!' he thought to himself.
There was no sight of the others, but there was no time to search. He would look out for Tristan when he was out there saving Dukes hide. Rushing out into the storm, leaving the Kaibas behind. He could swear he heard Mokuba calling him back, but without Serenity, he did not feel as important anymore. The winds harsh whistle busted on his eardrums causing his ears to pop. Quicking grabbing Dukes hand and ripping him from the earths grasp.
"Hurry up!" he shouted over natures cries.
As he ran back toward the cave, he left his eyes open. Trying despritely to spot his only friend at the moment.
"Come on Tristan..." he whispered.

Jou was now soaked from head to toe. His hair was a complete reck from the winds damage. Also limp from the rain that clung to his bangs and he was rather out of breath. Then he felt a smack on the back of his head. The impact sent water droplettes all over the place. Kaiba had been yelling at him, but why he wondered. He looked up curiously up at Kaiba, yet he was a little shocked as well. Though Kiaba was right, he did not feel that it was true. Who else did he have to live for? Maybe Yugi and Tristan, but he felt so empty without Serenity, what else was ther left of him.
And since when did Kaiba give a s**t about him? Sure he saved his life, but that was surely out of humanly compassion. Not even Kaiba was heartless enough to leave behind someone in need. But his words were not the apathetic tone they usually were, he sounded hurt. There seemed to be something more behind the words, but he could not grasp them. But even without knowing what they meant, his heart still seeemed to beat in a rush at the sound of his voice.
Once Kaiba silenced himself, Jous eyes left the deep blue orbs. His words were right, but it did not change his feelings. Now that he had failed to save his sister, he had to make up for it by saving the others that he loved. Tears welded up in his eyes as he clentched them tight. Looking back up at Seto, his gaze sad yet firm.
"When you loose someone that important to you, nothing seems to matter anymore.." he whispered his voice cracking.
Kaiba may have an idea, but he did not know how this felt, and a part of Jou was releaved for that. Kaiba would feel the same if Mokuba had died due to his lack of protection, but he was glad it did not happen to Kaiba. He was already cold and hurt inside as it was, the last thing he would need was for something like that to happen. Then that reminded him of the others, his eyes widened as Duke spoke. Tristan and Bakura were still out there. In a flash he stood up and made his way back to the opening of the cave.
"I have to go get Tristan and Bakura." he said aloud.
But Kaibas words came back in a flash, and he stopped. Giving the outside a glimpse to see if he could spot them near by.
