Alarms were sounding. The announcement for the Kyori to launch sounded. "KYORI PLEASE LAUNCH....EMERGENCY DEPLOYMENT"
" Systems all good. "The Uzumi Nara hanger bay opened."Ensign Koizumi, Kyori Launching! "
The Kyori finally took to space and headed to assist Lt. Kage. Once the screen showed the suit was within weapons range, Koizumi aimed the main beam cannon to the strike daggers and windams engaging the other two Gundams.
The system automatically targeted the enemy units, and when they were all selected, Koizumi activated the missiles, sending two towards each enemy mobile suit engaging the gundams, while the Kyori began firing its beam cannon.

Commander Hazuko watched the prime minister's son leave the bridge, turning to look at the monitors of the bridge as the XO shouted out. With the OMNI and Zaft forces following the Ghost reinforcements, the Uzumi would hold an advantage. With the antiparticle field dispersing, "Contact the OMNI and Zaft forces and tell them to avoid combat near the gundams, their IFF signals haven't been added to the Gundam's weapon systems yet. Have them target the enemy's ship." Hazuko knew from the last war that the Earth alliance carrier Girty Lue was capable of mirage colloid, and he was unsure of how long there was until it would vanish.
Name: Haru Hazuko Genetic Type: Natural Rank: Commander Position: Uzumi Nara Captain Background & Personality: A true commander of Orb, Haru Hazuko has been a loyal Orb soldier since he could sign up. Before the advent of the M1 Astray, he was proud of the Orb's military might and felt it could defend against ZAFT or the Earth Forces without mobile suits. When the invasion of Orb happened, he was proven wrong and focused on generating his own anti-mobile suits tactics. Some of which were successful, and he was promoted to Commander by the end of the second war. He was selected as the Orb military's first choice to captain the Fujin, and he recommended his long-time crewmember Ryuu Taiki to transfer onto the ship as well. With Haru's experience, the recommendation was accepted.
Unlike his subordinate, Haru is a very serious and strict military commander. While he knows about the cost of war, he also believes war is sometimes a necessary evil. He holds a dislike for the Earth Alliance and ZAFT after each invasion on the Orb homeland. He also smokes often and has an occasional drink for celebrations. With his knowledge of the previous major gundam projects, he was the biggest supporter and influence on Project H(inode), and remained paranoid all the way to the launch ceremony. Appearance:

Flay made her way to her mobile suit. A Slaughter Dagger tuned to Flay's ability's. Fasten and ready to go. She radioed the Bridge to open the hanger bay. From the recent explosion. The bay door was damaged and couldn't open. Her Dagger then proceeded to tear open the bay door.
" This is Ensign Allster! Emergency procedures! I'm taking off! "
Her mobile Suit proceeded towards the Orb Defense Fleet & the Uzumi Nara

When the screen flashed a notification of incoming fire, missiles appeared on the monitor portion behind him and flew around the display, contacting the enemy Dagger suits. They fired their CIWS, destroying some of the missiles while others hit their shield and the arms wielding beam carbines. Two of them were completely unharmed, a third lost its shield and the fourth had only its left arm functional. "These units are incredible." Ryuu commented on the gundam's combat capabilities. He moved the controls, aiming at the daggers as they recovered from the long range attack.
Name: Ryuu Taiki (23) Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Lieutenant Position: Uzumi Nara XO Background & Personality: Ryuu was an orphan at the age of 7, and since his parents customized his appearance , he wasn't adopted for a few years. As a Coordinator, he was advanced in schooling, but was ridiculed by natural children and their parents who condoned coordinators. He joined the military of Orb sometime after the events of Bloody Valentine in fear of Orb's inclusion as the war dragged on. While he was acceptable as an Astray pilot, his suit was destroyed on the first day of fighting and he choose to become a crewmen instead. Serving with a man named Hazuko, he was able to survive the first and second Bloody Valentine wars. He gained the rank of Lieutenant with Hazuko's personal request for him to be his XO on the Uzumi Nara.
Ryuu believes deeply in Orb's motto, but also thinks if someone has the ability to help others, they should whether it involves them or not. With the shock of his experience, he gets shaky when piloting a mobile suit. He also holds a grudge against Blue Cosmos for his parent's death. He often listens to music to calm himself down, or concentrate. Appearance:

Mikail's anger over the deteriorating progress of the mission was boiling over, and his foot tapped on the metal quickly. It was meant to be quick, retrieve Orb's newest suits, cripple their warship, assassinate each of the three powers' leaders and then leave to continue their work on Mikail's project. Now, not only had Zala's cultists intervened but Orb built new gundams which weren't part of any of the files his spies provided him with. With the Thixo damaged they couldn't continue without mutual destruction, and Mikail hadn't lived up to his superiors just yet. "Captain, Ensign Allaster is taking off!" a crewman shouted. "WHAT!? Give me a direct line now." Mikail pulled up the comm phone from the chair, waiting for the connection to Allster's Dagger. "Ensign, return now to the Thixo! Your father won't be avenged with this battle." The dagger was already within range of combat with the gundams though. The supreme commander slammed down the phone before looking to the captain. "Captain Asahina, I'm ordering a retreat. There is no point in continuing this battle. Once our best troops have returned, activate the Thixo's stealth system. The remainder of our forces will distract them."
Name: Joseph Mikail (29) Genetic Type: Natural Rank: Supreme Commander of Cosmos Position: Ghost of Cosmos Leader Background: One of the last high members of Blue Cosmos, Joseph Mikail was to be put on trial for his crimes as a Logos/Blue Cosmos member, but was able to escape before being arrested or attacked by mobs. He met with some lower members of Logos and they retreated into the debris belt as the second war ended. When Librarian Works acted, he took advantage of the aftermath and gathered up the remaining Logos sympathizers he could, as well as obtaining the carbon human and cloning technologies of Librarian Works. With these, he was able to raise their military force as well as declaring them the Ghost of Cosmos. He despises Coordinators for their abilities, believing that they flaunt their improved skills over Naturals.
As the conflict increased between the Uzumi Nara and the Thixo, as well as their mobile suit compliments, the Orb defense forces were losing space to the Zala Loyalists. With improved tactics as well as mobile suits, the Loyalists had the edge against the older Ootsukigata and M1 Astray suits. Even being supported by two Izumo-class ships the orb mobile suits were stuck on the defensive against the loyalists. As the last of the Loyalist agents returned to their carriers, the acting commander ordered a retreat as their mobile suit batteries and armaments would be bone dry the longer the conflict went.

Again the thixo shook following the hit by the Uzumi's Valiants. Listening to the Supreme Commander, Captian Asahina gave orders for a withdrawal knowing we failed our mission.
"Signal flares! Call in the mobile suits! We are withdrawing from this area at once!
Mikuru noticed the disappointment Mikail had on his face. She then gave another order.
"Prepare to activate the Stealth system!"

Itsuki noticed both factions were beginning there retreat. He contacted the Uzumi Nara."Commander whats going on?"

During the combat against the gundams, the Ghost's mobile suits were kept on the defensive as well, although they were quick to learn the maneuvers and coordinate with each other for defense. As another Slaughter Dagger flew to them for reinforcements, the Thixo launched a retreat signal. The mobile suits in combat with the gundams received the signal, and accelerated away from the newest Orb mobile suits, firing in a barrage in order to prevent a chase. One of the Strike Sabers reached the Slaughter Dagger piloted by Flay Alster holding it back with an arm. "A retreat has been ordered! Return at once Ensi-AHHH!" The pilot's voice was cut as the cockpit was melted from a beam rifle shot, with an explosion subsequently after the suit drifted away from the Slaughter Dagger.
